A few days ago, we gave a private concert to one of our biggest supporters and his family and friends. We almost never get to do something like this, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience, out in the sun, underneath the whistling trees, the river water calmly passing by, cats purring in the sun. What a blessed summer gift!

We did almost sink a boat, but that's a story for another time.

Michael & friends & family, thank you for your unforgettable kindness and for spending a lovely day out in nature with us.

You've scrolled so far down you encountered a bonfire. Sit, breathe calmly and listen to my story, before you find your way back home.

This year’s Castlefest was a very special one. I got asked to do the live sound for the Wicker Ritual. Collaborating with amazing people on such a resonating Wicker was an honour and touched me deeply.

I’m grateful to Fieke for thrusting me with her ideas of how the Wicker should sound. Giving me a shot at making it impactful and pretty in front of an insane amount of people in the audience.

At the end the weekend we did an acoustic Sowulo show to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Sol album. A very bright and light ending to a weekend filled with emotions.

On Friday there was a ritual to transfer the 'ownership' of the Wicker (Dagaz, The Dawn).

In this post some of the Musicians attending the Ritual.

To everyone going to Castlefest, have a wonderful weekend! Let go of everything that tethers you to this mundane world and enter one where you can truly be yourself. Dance, laugh, cry and be completely free.

You'll find us on stage at a number of shows this year. Come say hi in any language! As you must have gathered by now, we speak all of them.

Yours, @cesairofficial
