I said before leaving I wanted vivid colours and a bird sunset silhouette. Well here is roughly 200 only only a section of the huge flock of crows referred to as a 'murder'. The fascinating sight of crows circling in waves back and forth over the rookery of trees before roosting in the sunset at Knockbridge on the way from The Fairy Tree Sat 17th October 2026

I'm simply calling this one Golden Light. The Fairy Tree Knockbridge Co Louth Sat 17th Oct 26 in the sunset.

The famous Fairy Tree in Knockbridge, County Louth, Ireland, is a Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) estimated to be roughly 200 to 300 years old (around 250 years old)

Everythings changing but me, so I open my mind enjoy what I see as the smells of flowers and fresh cut grass reappear, it’s the beauty of the new as the old will disappear, so I hold on to the hope of this new part of the year that won’t change for me no matter how much I try still I hold onto to thought I could transform like caterpillar to butterfly

A slightly longer timelapse before I had to swing left to catch the explosion of colour after the sunset. Thursday 15th October 2026 epic frontal system! Note Mammatus type clouds in the mix of the others. An epic sunset to capture thanks again to @irishskiesforecasts for the heads-up!😍

The distinct, pouch-like bulges hanging downward from the base of the cloud layer are the classic hallmark of the mamma supplementary feature.

While they are most famous for hanging underneath massive thunderstorm anvils (cumulonimbus clouds), they can also frequently develop under mid-level clouds like Altocumulus or Altostratus.

Here the sinking cold air is pushing down into the warmer air below, reversing the normal upward-growing process of clouds to create the beautiful, lumpy texture highlighted perfectly by the setting sun.

I waited for the sheep to move under the Fairy Tree at Knockbridge on Sat 17th Oct 26 but they wouldn't so I got the next best thing with them silhouetted in the sunset grazing under the rising moon.

While I’m sleeping the world changes but I don’t, I wake up just as tired as when I lay down, its like nothing can help or no matter how I try it won’t, it’s just leaves me with this constant frown, it’s like I’m fighting with myself, constantly searching for my health that unthought of wealth taken for granted while those of us who’ve lost it hope keeps getting decanted
