Happy New Year, kings & queens. I’m slowly making my way out of this much-needed break, and I’m feeling more refreshed than ever. A couple of questions for my movers and shakers: Do you want ā€œmotionā€, or do you want to create a MOVEMENT? Is everything a zero-sum game for CLOUT & COMMERCE, or can we leverage our skills to preserve CULTURE and build COMMUNITY? I’m releasing my 17th solo album, Legacy Minded Men, on January 19th, 2026, which is MLK Day and the National Day of Service. But I’m doing something DIFFERENT.

What makes this album release unique is that I’m finding the perfect intersection of artistry and activism. This album will only be available on the entrepreneur-friendly platform, Bandcamp, with 100% of the proceeds going back to our youth nonprofit, @believinginforever ., to help fund my late daughter Kamaria Spaulding’s #TheLunaLibrary.

Here’s the kicker: To get a physical copy of the new project in CD form, fans must perform some form of community service, post proof of their service on social media using the hashtag #LeavingBehindALegacy, and encourage others to serve.ā€ Once you do that, we will find you using the hashtag and ship you a FREE physical copy of the new album! Watch our new commercial and pre-order the digital album below!

Aesthetic, a Brooklyn-based hip-hop producer, crafted a soundscape for this project that continues where the Amadeus360-produced ā€œGuardians of the Boom Bapā€ album left off—hard drums, strategically placed chops and vocal samples, and edgy lyricism. The album features Boston-native, REKS, Kentucky’s own, Tony Wavy, Corey Dunn, Terry Dumphord, and more.

Finally, by the grace of God, we are done. @believinginforever has officially given away over 3,000 BRAND NEW winter items (2,700+ coats) to Kentucky children in need across Eastern and Central Kentucky. All while still honoring our 1-year boycott of Walmart (which expires January 1st) and our indefinite boycott of Target (due to their DEI rollbacks). Over 90 percent of our coats over the last 11 years came from these two retailers, but this year God provided without us shopping with them. šŸ„¹šŸ™šŸ¾ Only God.

Thank you to everyone who donated and served with us this year. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out for the fourth & final phase yesterday, which was our community walk-in. On Saturday morning, we gave away all the extra donated items, as well as new children’s books from my late daughter, Kamaria Spaulding’s #TheLunaLibrary book project. We did it, together. This year was a true lesson in faith, obedience, AND community! Lessons I will take with me into 2026.

And now….. I can rest for real. Get back on my mental and emotional healing journey, spend time with family, and binge-watch Homeland on Netflix. āœŒšŸ¾

I have a praise report this morning. I know several of you have been waiting... Well, I’m blessed to announce that @believinginforever . has not only reached its goal of 2,300 BRAND NEW winter coats, but has exceeded it by 500!! We also received several brand new hats, gloves, hoodies, and other winter items. This week, we will not only be giving away over 2,800 BRAND NEW coats, but also over 3,000 winter items to Kentucky children in need. Thank you to our home base, First Baptist Church Bracktown; long-time sponsor, the Whitaker Family Foundation; and the hundreds of individuals and organizations (too many to name) who donated coats and money this year. Special thanks to the University of Kentucky Credit Union for a last-minute donation that will cover our U-Haul delivery costs this week, as well as some extra coats! @highlight This truly is a COMMUNITY coat drive!!!!! All glory to God for seeing htis through, year in and year out, regardless of the challenges!

We plan to deliver 2,300 coats on Monday and Tuesday, and on Saturday, we will host a one-time community walk-in coat drive, where the community can come in and pick from what is left. We will also be giving away FREE books from my late daughter’s memorial book project, The Luna Library. That will be at 9 am on Saturday, December 20th, at First Baptist Church of Bracktown.

I have so much more to say as the week continues, but for now, I want to say THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I normally don’t post the results from anything I do within the community but I was blown away by my clients’ generosity. I met up with @devinecarama to drop off the coat donation today and he was thrilled!

Because of you all we were able to collect 88 coats for @believinginforever !!! This makes my heart ridiculously happy and I’m so proud to have such kind hearted and giving clientele. Special thanks to all of you who participated in this event. I can’t wait to do the next one! Thanks for being amazing!
