A cup of tea warming your hands… a book waiting to be opened… a question worth exploring… a little time set aside simply to wonder. Perhaps that is the heart of Light Academia… not just the books we read, but the joy of learning, reflecting, creating, and allowing ourselves the luxury of curiosity. Tea, literature, a stack of well-loved subjects… The Enneagram of the Soul, with Vibrate Higher, Making Tarot Magic, and The Book of Pendulum Healing, a little portrait of my version of Light Academia, with books that invite me to learn, explore, question, and create. ✨ It’s academia with a little magic. 💜 The last slide… borrowed from Bella @beljones77 ©2026 Red Wheel/Weiser, LLC www.redwheelweiser.com @redwheelbooks | @weiserbooks ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sharing 18 of My Favorite Books ‘26 August Academia 2026 Word Prompt Challenge Hosted by @EllasEdge @GlitterbyInk @Simply_Raven_2021 #WordPromptChallenge #MagicalMusings #onewordatatime #lightacademia

A Message of Gratitude 🌙✨ As #MayMoon26 comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on this journey we shared together… through stillness and expansion, shadow and light, reflection and growth. What began as a list of words became a space for creativity, connection, honesty, and encouragement. To my wonderful co-hosts, Bella and Dolly, thank you for your friendship, inspiration, and support throughout this month. And to everyone who participated, shared, reflected, or quietly followed along… thank you. Every contribution helped make this space feel warm, welcoming, and real. A special thank you as well to the creators and publisher of Initiates Oracle, which became such a meaningful companion for this journey. Most of all… thank you for showing up ✨ one word at a time 💫 We’re busy preparing something exciting for June…
I hope you’ll join us. …Details coming soon! I continue my journey in dedication to my son 🙏 Christopher Shephard 11/08/77 – 4/22/22 Grief changes you. So does love. 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟖-𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 #selflove begins in the quiet moments, the Stillness where we finally hear ourselves again. It’s the gentle Attunement to our own needs, the Clarity that rises when we no longer sideline ourselves for the comfort of others. It’s the slow Expansion that happens as we realise we’re allowed to take up space, allowed to feel, allowed to choose differently. It’s the soft Resonance of coming home to our truth, the subtle Iridescence that appears when we stop dimming our light. Self‑love also lives So Below, in the grounded, everyday choices. It’s becoming Rooted in our worth, learning to Embody our healthy boundaries staying Grounded when life pulls at us from every direction. It’s choosing what Nourishes us, honouring our natural Rhythm, and building a life of intentional Creation rather than obligation, a life we can move through without losing ourselves. These are the small actions that support our wellbeing rather than drain it. And then there is the work As Within, the part most people skip. Self‑love asks for Introspection, for the Depth to look honestly at our patterns, for the Integration of the parts we’ve exiled. It invites us to meet our Shadow with compassion instead of criticism. Self‑love is the return to our Essence, the part of us untouched by comparison, expectation, or performance. And it ends in Reflection, where we finally see ourselves clearly, not through the eyes of others, but through our own. Self‑love is not selfish. It’s discernment. It’s choosing truth over pleasing. It’s choosing nourishment over depletion. It’s choosing ourselves without diminishing our care for others. Life is heavy enough. Self‑love is what replenishes us, warmth that steadies us, the practice that brings us back to centre, the gentle reminder that we are allowed to rest, allowed to receive, allowed to be. Self‑love is above, below, and within. It’s the root, the rise, and the return to self.💫©️𝐭𝐡𝐞_𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐬𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 Thank you @midnightunicornwitchdoll @glitterbyink @beljones77 for creating #maymoon26 #aquarius #cardoftheday #doingitformyself

#MayMoon26 Day 18- ✨️Reflection✨️ ✨Mind — The Chariot The journey is the destination. To stay on track and not fall off the chariot, I focus on a clear direction. Set priorities, and allow myself to rest. (I mean its to rest alot!) I choose the direction, and I hold the reins. (Somtimes very tight, sometimes I can let go a little bit.) ✨ Body — The Wheel My body is shifting cycles. Some days the energy rises, some days it falls. Rise and rest. My body wants me to honor its pace, not force it. After such a long time its getting hard to trust its timing. ✨ Spirit — The Magician My inner power is active and ready to create. My intuition feels clear, and my connection is open. I practice manifestation. As above, so below. I am grateful. 🙏🏻 ... and maybe it is all in my Hands ...🖖🏻🍀 🧚🏼‍♀️🌈 @fairyofrainbowstarot #MayMoon26 Rise Root Return Word Prompt Challenge @MidnightUnicornWitchDoll @GlitterbyInk @BelJones77 Thank you all for your word promt challenge!🙏🏻💞✨️ #reflection #mecfs 📚 Tarot Deck: THE SYMBOLIC TAROT 🃏Cards Mind - The Chariot: Horse🐎 Body - The Wheel: Coin🪙 Spirit - The Magician: Hands🙌🏻 All pictures © 2026 @fairyofrainbowtarot

#maymoon26 RISE • ROOT • RETURN Thank you to our lovely hosts ~ @midnightunicornwitchdoll @beljones77 @glitterbyink DECK: The Daydream Tarot Deck & Witches of the Moonlit Forest Day 18 :: Reflection :: Two of Cups :: The Mirror The set buzzed with noise— laughter, people yelling, and shallow conversations Riley had learned to survive with a practiced smile. For years, people admired the mask. The charm. The mystery. The carefully constructed shell he wore like armor. But… Wren never looked at the armor. The moment her eyes met his across the room, something inside him cracked open. Not painfully— but like the first breath after nearly drowning. She saw him. Not the man others wanted him to be. Not the role he played. Not the scars he tried to bury beneath wit and silence. Her gaze slipped past every defense and settled gently against the soul beneath it all. And for the first time in his life, Riley felt exposed without fear. It was terrifying. Sacred. Familiar. Like staring into a mirror and recognizing himself after years of pretending. Wren tilted her head slightly, as if she’d known him long before this lifetime. “You don’t have to hide with me,” she whispered. The world around them disappeared. Because sometimes love doesn’t arrive as passion first. Sometimes it arrives as recognition. 🖤💫

#maymoon26 RISE • ROOT • RETURN Thank you to our lovely hosts ~ @midnightunicornwitchdoll @beljones77 @glitterbyink DECK: Ethereal Bloom Tarot & Crystal Wisdom Oracle Cards ✨ Day 17: Essence :: The Star 🌟 ✨ Today’s energy is The Star — a reminder that beneath the layers of pain, doubt, and survival is your truest essence… radiant, pure, and deeply connected to the universe. The Star asks you to return to yourself. To cleanse what no longer belongs to you. To release the masks, the wounds, and the stories that dim your light. You are not meant to shrink your soul to fit the expectations of others. You are meant to shine authentically, unapologetically, and with hope for what’s still unfolding. Paired with Selenite, this message carries powerful cleansing energy — purifying your spirit, clearing stagnant energy, and opening the path for new beginnings. 🤍✨ Tonight, ask yourself: 🌙 Who am I when I let go of fear? 🌙 What part of my soul is ready to shine again? 🌙 What energy am I ready to cleanse and release? Your light was never lost. It was only waiting for you to remember it. 🌟

So you’ve seen today’s card. And before our brain rolls its eyes and mutters, “Here we go..#focusonthepositive ,” hold on. This isn’t about pretending everything is fine. It’s not bypassing. It’s not ignoring our feelings. And it’s definitely not forcing ourselves into a spiritual jazz‑hands routine. It’s simply this: Where we place our attention becomes the atmosphere we live in. Not because positive thinking magically changes reality, but because the brain has a habit called confirmation bias, it finds more of whatever we’re looking for. Look for what’s wrong? We’ll spot it instantly. Look for possibilities? We’ll see that too. The world opens a little. Also focusing on the positive has real #psychological and physiological benefits. Positive emotions widen our mental lens, psychologists call this broadening, helping us think more clearly, regulate emotions, solve problems, and cope with stress without spiralling. Our body responds: reduced stress, better immunity, steadier recovery. Not because life gets easier, but because we become more grounded. And it doesn’t stop with us. Research shows happiness creates a ripple effect, it moves through families, friendships, workplaces, even communities. When we feel good, the people around us feel it. When they feel good, it returns to us. A quiet, human chain reaction. A reminder that focusing on the positive isn’t just personal, it’s relational. But let’s be clear about what it doesn’t mean. It’s not denying problems or avoiding what needs attention. And it’s not #toxicpositivity , not forcing a smile, dismissing #emotions , or pretending everything is fine. It’s acknowledging what’s true while allowing space for what’s possible, without silencing our own grief, anger, sadness, or any feeling that deserves to be heard. Essence is the part of us that can hold both. The version of us that says, “Yes, this is difficult,” yet, “I’m still moving, still growing. I’m still here.” Our essence isn’t the part of us trying to stay positive. It’s the part that naturally rises once the noise settles.©️𝐭𝐡𝐞_𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐬𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 #maymoon26 @midnightunicornwitchdoll @glitterbyink @beljones77
