As a family, we needed to take a moment to process the news before sharing.

On Friday, we received the results of my mom’s PET scan, and our hearts broke in a way that’s hard to put into words. Her cancer has continued to spread, and everything feels heavier than it did just a few days ago.

We are holding onto our faith and taking this one day — sometimes one moment — at a time. Right now, our focus is simple: to cherish every second we are given with her. To create meaningful memories, to laugh when we can, to hold her close, and to surround her with love and peace.
