I haven’t bought a Call of Duty game since 2019. I used to love CoD release days, but they’ve just not interested me since the Modern Warfare reboot 7 years ago.

It was the same for Modern Warfare 4 until a few days ago when people started putting up the campaign and DMZ videos on Youtube and now it’s got me rethinking my decision. That campaign looks insane and DMZ looks a bunch of fun.

Will you be picking it up this year and if you’ve got early access, do you recommend it?

I think it’s safe to say that Blizzcon 2026 didn’t disappoint.

The biggest announcement for me was the long awaited release date of World of Warcraft Forever. As someone who has played WoW since the very beginning (over 25 years ago), this is exactly what I’ve been wanting from a Classic + update!

If you’re going to be playing, let me know and we can hit up some dungeons together in November.

The other big announcements were,

• Diablo V coming in 2029 and a Netflix show

• A new StarCraft open world shooter which is unfortunately still a long way off and has a release date of 2030.

• Warcraft 3: Forsaken Kingdom which will finally give me an excuse to play through W3 again!

There was also Overwatch, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm news too.

What was your favourite announcement from the event?

If you were given £1,000,000 tomorrow, what game collection would you spend it on first?

I’m pretty sure I’d go straight onto eBay and find everything Gameboy, Gameboy Color and Advance related product!

Hey Freunde👋,
