Storm by Brian Hilario

What an amazing experience. Being thrust upon this role unexpectedly was a lot of work originally, but I had plenty of fun to make up for it. Becoming Will, an old southern-accent alcoholic diabetic with a tragic backstory in the foster care system, was very different from me as you can imagine. The change was dramatic, but I think I succeeded in protraying the character of Will that Mr. Hilario wanted. Working with my friends on the script and building relationships with the characters on and off stage was the best part of my day.

At the show, I got to see my elementary school theater teacher for the first time in 7 years! She introduced Alex, Gracie, and I to theater at N.B. Cook back in kindergarten and seeing her after a play in my senior year was nostalgic. I am sad it is over, but a piece of Will will still be in my heart when I play a card game. I'll leave you all with one of the many memorable quotes that Will has.

"Theres a lot of people out there who wouldnt have survived what I have. What you have. What Kate has. But we did. We'll keep surviving" -Will Humphries
