Forest fairy chapter...
Silk fans are trying to teach me how to slow down, pause and let it flow. And let me tell you, it's not been easy for me but I try. #futuregoals

Memories of creating amongst friends. In many ways my creative spirit has been deeply nurtured over these past few years by folks whose open hearted and playful approach made it feel safe to show up exactly as I am. It feels like a dream to be surrounded by others while lost in painting the environment around us.

We can live as though nothing is a miracle, or as though everything is a miracle 💫

The fact that our hearts are beating in perfect rhythm

Every pulse that says YES to life

Every breath that once flowed through the veins of trees and gifted back to us

Our sacred connection to water that not only sustains our bodies, but holds memories and responds to our intentions

The sun that kisses our face every morning

Our capacity to feel the full spectrum of our humanity - joy, pleasure, pain, grief

That we get to share this human experience, this Earth Walk, with our beloved family and friends, acquaintances and strangers

The reciprocity of giving and receiving love, beauty, care, connection

As we coexist on a living breathing planet, held in orbit by a giant ball of fire that freely emits its life force energy to keep us alive

Spiraling through the Milky Way galaxy in an infinite universe that is humanly impossible to comprehend

But here we are, gifted with this day. This breath. This love for being here

How will we choose to meet this moment? To look within and remember the miracle of our very being?

We always have a choice, and in our choosing lies our greatest power

It’s the power to co-create our reality with the unseen world that we are intrinsically a part of

Trust your inner wisdom - take the next step. 🪄

The other half of my artist trade, a plein air portrait of @bellabroughphoto ! Done in an hour and a half on a beach in Vancouver. I feel so lucky to share my creative world with others on a parallel journey.

Photos taken by @bellabroughphoto during an art trade this spring in Vancouver, BC. For Bella's half of the trade, we broke the ice on her new studio space and had so much fun doing so! Grateful to have these pictures of me, right after a camping trip at the age of 31.

When a bestie and an artist rejuvenate the lens you look at yourself with, that’s how you know you’re part of a dream team 💗
It took a decade for me to find friendships like ours—where creative collaboration isn’t a task or a chore, rather, it’s a soul-soothing experience that leaves us full to the brim with ❤️
I’m so honoured to be 📸 by you Bella, your artistry comes once in a blue moon 🧿
