Yesterday, On The Inside premiered at the Columbia Maryland Film Festival! 🎬

It was an incredible night filled with so many great short films, and I’m extremely grateful for the support and feedback we received.

Hearing people connect with the story and tell us how much it resonated with them was really special. Moments like that remind me why I picked up a camera and decided to pursue filmmaking in the first place.

I’m proud that On The Inside was created with a fully African American cast and crew, with the majority being women, and even more proud that the story was able to connect with people.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us, and thank you to the Columbia Maryland Film Festival for giving us the opportunity to share our film.

I can’t wait to do it again. ❤️🎬

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have been a panelist at such an inspiring event centered around the film industry.

Being part of the conversation and sharing my experiences as a professional makeup artist was an honor—but one of my favorite parts of the event was the opportunity to network and connect with other talented professionals who are passionate about film and storytelling.

There’s something powerful about being in a room filled with creatives, filmmakers, producers, actors, and industry professionals who are all working toward bringing great stories to life.

The conversations, the connections, the exchange of ideas, and the new relationships made the experience even more meaningful. You never know where one conversation or connection can lead.

I’m continuing to put myself in rooms where I can learn, contribute, connect, and grow—and I’m excited about what’s ahead. 🎥💄✨

Sometimes the biggest leap is simply deciding to believe in yourself. ✨

Recently, I made some major changes in my life to pursue dreams I’ve carried for years.
It required me to step outside of my comfort zone, trust the process, and take a few BIG leaps of faith.

Was I scared? Absolutely.
Did I have all the answers? Nope.
Did I move forward anyway? YES. ❤️

One thing I’ve been reminded of through Danessa Myricks’ words is that our dreams often require us to become uncomfortable before we become unstoppable.

So here I am…
✨ Choosing growth over comfort.
✨ Betting on myself.
✨ Making room for bigger dreams.
✨ Trusting God, the process, and the journey.

I don’t know exactly where this next chapter will take me…

But I’m excited to find out.
