Remember when we filmed a pilot episode in a weekend? Yeah… about that. 👀🎬

Perfect on Paper is back.✨

Set in Atlanta, the story follows Amara as she navigates friendship, ambition, love, and the unexpected way life keeps her intertwined with her best friend, Elias all while trying to figure out what life is supposed to look like when it doesn’t exactly look perfect on paper.

Think Girlfriends meets Sex and the City… with a twist. 💌
We’ve been a little quiet, but there’s a lot more coming: BTS, character moments, never-before-seen clips, and some exciting things ahead.

Welcome back to the world of Perfect on Paper. 🩷

Meet Dani. 💍✨️

We asked Isabella Carlsen, who plays Dani in Perfect on Paper, to describe her character in three words…

Supporting. Loyal. Devoted.

Do you relate to Dani? 👀

Meet Danielle “Dani” Reed. 🤍

Dani met Amara and Elias in college, where she was a fiery, magnetic photography major — the life of the party, quick-witted, and unafraid to take up space.

Now married to a successful Christian artist, her life looks perfect from the outside, but somewhere along the way, she learned to soften her edges and edit herself.

Dani’s journey is about reclaiming her voice, rediscovering the artist within her, and deciding whether love should ever require losing yourself.

This week was filled with ups and downs, but this was hands down the highlight of my year. I pitched this idea to these incredible ladies almost 2 years ago, and despite my brain going haywire, they saw it through. I'm forever grateful for their trust in my vision. Directing today was so dope and definitely is what I was kept around to do! To the talented cast, crew, and extras @rowansmom_ @nicolesensing_ @bellacarlsen @youve.been.ameliorated @sandirome @theamyhui @vtlproductions @manofallseasons @lazy.panda.atl, I love and appreciate you all.
