God gave me this mountain,
and told me to believe . . .
His strength and might
from Him I would receive.

So, I gathered up my faith,
though I admit it was small
compared to this mountain
that seemed seven-miles tall.

I looked at the obstacles,
I knew were in my way
and then I paraphrased
what Jesus had to say . . .

If you do not doubt,
you can save a lot of time
and pick that mountain up
instead of making the climb.

So, I mustered up the power,
that Jesus left for me . . .
picked that mountain up
and now I’m burden free!

So yesterday was #WashDay 💦featuring @primekinks❤, @simanaturals💚 & @naturalhairaccessoriesshop💜 and I was tasked to do a review on a clay mask (Bentonite clay mixed with Hibiscus) from @primekinks.

My hair had been in a protective style (faux locs) for about 5 weeks. Maintained it pretty well during that period and then dyed it with hair wax from @naturalhairaccessoriesshop.

Generally, the clay mask was really good. I mixed it with ACV, peppermint oil, avocado oil and vitamin E oil.
PROS: ●It wasn't as drying as I've heard it is. ●The application didn't create too much of a mess (in my opinion). ●My curls were really popping after rinsing it out. ●My scalp was really clean. My hair felt really...no extremely soft and clean. I was just in love with the feel of my hair afterwards.

CON: ■The dried hisbicus mixed with the clay just didn't want to come out.
I followed up with @simanaturals Green Tea Deep Conditioner which further made my hair super soft. My curls were literally melting😎

@simanaturals Hibiscus Leave-In Conditioner and Curl Defining Cream as well as @primekinks Moisture Enhancing Butter and Grow Me Fast Cocktail sealed the deal and now my beautiful, soft, luscious 'locs' are in JUICY TWISTS!!!😍😍😍 (PS: I'll post a pic of them in my next post). NB: I detangled my hair before applying the clay mask using @naturalhairaccessoriesshop Tangle Teazer👍
