Summer 2026 🤍

I genuinely don’t know how we’re already at the end of summer.

This one had a little bit of everything. Beach days, road trips, Pride, Family Week, new places, new friends and getting to meet some really incredible people along the way.

We watched our girl get a little bigger and somehow even more independent. We traveled, made memories, spent as much time near the water as we could, sold the house where we brought her home, packed up our entire life and started making a new place feel like ours.

And somewhere between all the big stuff were probably the moments I’ll remember most — holding hands walking toward the ocean, watching her experience something for the first time, laughing at absolutely nothing, and just getting to be together.

It was busy. Chaotic. Exhausting at times. And really, really good.

A summer I already know I’m going to miss. 🤍

Summer 2026, you were a good one.

Watching these two together never gets old. 🤍

Just us doing summer the way we like it. 🌊

One of our favorite weeks of the year with our favorite drag queen. 🌈

Some pretty incredible people crossed our path this summer. ✨

A private reading from the author himself. 🥹🐘♥️

Happiest anywhere near the water. 🌊

Always stopping for the flowers. 🌸

Experienced her first trip to @storylandnh 👑

One of those family days you know you’ll remember. 🤍

And casually decided to change our entire lives. 😂

Slowly making a new place feel like home. 🏠

Apparently a new house wasn’t enough. She has expensive taste. 💍 😆

First train ride. Safe to say she was a fan. 🚂🤍

A lot changed this summer. The best part didn’t. 🤍

Turning Grief Into Purpose: The Story Behind Belle and Her Missing Heart | Call Cut Ep. 59
With @angeliqueadelina and @belleandhermissingheart

What if the work you’ve been creating for years has been preparing you for a purpose you haven’t discovered yet?
In this deeply moving episode of Call Cut with Angélique, I sit down with watercolor artist, author, and storyteller Daniel Angeles, creator of “Belle and Her Missing Heart”.

Daniel shares the heartbreaking true story that inspired Belle, a little girl who survived a tragic accident that took the life of her mother. What began as Daniel’s desire to create one painting that might bring her comfort became a book, a growing world of characters, and a mission to help children and adults navigate grief, loss, healing, and hope.
But Daniel’s story has another extraordinary layer.

Some of the paintings that found their way into Belle’s world were created as many as 17 years earlier, long before Daniel knew what they would become. Looking back, he began to realize that his story, and perhaps his purpose, had been writing itself all along.

Daniel also opens up about his own journey through multiple brain surgeries, forgiveness, his decision to stop drinking, and the moment he realized that his art could become something much greater than himself.

In this conversation, we explore finding purpose through pain, navigating grief and loss, creativity as a tool for healing, forgiveness, sobriety, emotional healing, and what happens when you finally discover the why behind years of creating.

Sometimes we don’t find our purpose. We look backward and realize it has been finding us.

Everyone needs to head over to @belleandhermissingheart and check out this incredible book. It is such a touching story written by @artbydangeles. I would say illustrated, but it’s so much more. Each page is an art piece. A portion of proceeds goes toward the Belle Endowment Fund. Check out the website www.bellesadventures.com for more information!
