@macsclubdeuce is turning 100, and Miami Beach is throwing the legendary dive bar a proper street party.

Today, the Miami Beach institution will celebrate its 100-year anniversary with a block party on 14th Street, presented by the Washington Avenue BID.

Beginning at 4 p.m., the event will bring together locals, musicians, nightlife regulars and visitors for an evening of music, drinks and neighborhood revelry honoring one of South Beach’s longest-running bars.

Established in 1926, Mac’s Club Deuce has become synonymous with Miami Beach nightlife, known for its neon-lit interior, pool table, jukebox and steadfast dive-bar character. A favorite of generations of Miami locals and visitors—including the late Anthony Bourdain—the Deuce has remained a rare constant amid South Beach’s ever-changing landscape, making its centennial a celebration of both the bar and the city’s nightlife history.

From Miami roots to a global fashion following, @alchemist has turned its distinctly local point of view into an internationally recognized lifestyle brand.

Founded in 2006 by Roma Cohen, Alchemist was built on a foundation of fashion, celebrity culture and Miami influence, launching with early support from influential industry figures and retailers including Barneys and Bergdorf Goodman. “Miami has often been a main source of inspiration for our lifestyle Brand,” says Cohen, Founder and Creative Director of Alchemist.

Today, the brand is sold worldwide and has collaborated with names including Chrome Hearts, the Rolling Stones, Nike, Lewis Hamilton, Paris Saint-Germain, Justin Bieber, Virgil Abloh and Takashi Murakami.

Its latest collection channels youth and punk energy through bespoke, artisanal craftsmanship, with many pieces handmade in Italy in factories that also produce for luxury houses such as Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga.

Looking ahead, Cohen sees Alchemist evolving into a full lifestyle brand with expanded categories for men, women and kids, including footwear. Still, Miami remains at the heart of the brand.

“I really love the slow, Mellow Miami,” Cohen says, pointing to everything from Cuban bodegas and longtime local spots to the city’s evolving food and hospitality scene as part of what makes Miami special.
