I walked into Costa Rica wanting to leave.

Not because of the women.
Not because of the container.

Because grief had arrived with both feet and no intention of leaving.

And if I’m honest, there was a part of me that believed I needed to choose.

Choose grief or leadership.

Choose heartbreak or expansion.

Choose the firestorm or the future.

Choose the woman connecting w 27 women in a room wholeheartedly or the woman quietly trying to survive her own life.

But that’s not how any of this works.

And maybe that’s the biggest lesson I took home.

Leadership isn’t the absence of complexity.

It’s the capacity to hold it.

I can be grieving and deeply in love.

I can be navigating loss and building something extraordinary.

I can be managing a firestorm and recalibrating to 100k months.

I can be broken open and fully present.

None of those truths cancel each other out.

Somewhere along the way we’ve been taught that power looks composed.

That leadership looks clean.

That certainty comes before movement.

I don’t believe that anymore.

I think the strongest women I know are the ones willing to hold contradictory truths without abandoning themselves in the damned process.

This week reminded me of that.

Twenty-seven women.
A jungle.
A thousand conversations.
A million mirrors.

And profound gratitude for every woman who showed up willing to be seen.

Not despite the complexity.

Because of it.

⚡️Lightning in a Bottle⚡️
My 18th ritual of dancing playful freedom with friends.
5th year helping curate an epic lineup of movement and yoga teachers who bring excellence, love to dance and know how to play.

I don’t have any pictures of my class (yet), but the best part of it is being with such a magical people in such a magical place. The @thedolab really does it. Grateful and blessed.

Keep dancing🪩

Memorial Day Weekend = this. ✨

@deepexhale returns to the Yoga Sol stage at the @libfestival this Saturday at 10AM — and honestly, there are very few gatherings that feel quite like this one.

LIB has been home to some of our wildest, most beautiful, most transformational moments over the years… and it also happens to be the birthplace of Deep Exhale nearly 13 years ago.

Every time we come back, it feels like stepping into a living prayer made of movement, music, sweat, breath, community, and release.

If you’ve ever shared this space with us before, @marqueswyatt and I would love love to hear
what moment from LIB has stayed with you most ?

And if you’re coming this year… come say hi below. 🔥

Not making it to LIB?

We’ll be bringing this energy to LA at @primalmovesvenice next Saturday, May 30th! Deets in the bio 💃🏻🔥🕺🏿

There is a force greater than power,
capable of bending will
with the heart’s desire

Not weak, but brave
are those who surrender to it…
that which is not easy to name,
yet inevitably felt

A pleasure in surrender,
the gift that keeps on giving:
a quiet undoing of edges,
soothing with grace and beauty

She (yes, She)

Invites you not to disappear,
but to trust
you will grow vast enough
to hold it all

And in her arms, there is no loss,
only the remembering
that to yield
is to fall in Love.

Blessings my Bali community!

I have recently done a harvest of moringa and I wanted to share the love.
The moringa really supports the physical energy and the Blue Lotus does an amazing job with the consciousness and spiritual energy.

May the joy in your life radiate through the shadow.
Cheers,
