late september of last year i photographed @will.miller for the cover of @resavoir ‘s 𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓼 at @belmaefarm with @divine_ranch_ ’s sheep. it was a really beautiful day capturing the late summer light and landscape. i’m still in disbelief that i was able to document this moment on film, the sheep are constantly moving, so all of my other pictures were not as lucky (and of their butts lol). we went back to the farm this past weekend and many of the sheep, including sardinia in the front, had given birth to lambs. spending time with the animals is so pure. big thank you to @belmaefarm for opening up the farm to us and to @snoobz for the videos of the sheep with the album 🐑💗🌛🫖😴💤

presenting… 𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓼. I designed, photographed the cover (slide 3) of and co-creative directed (with @will.miller ) @resavoir ’s beautiful latest album. I spent the winter drawing, writing, printing, painting, arranging, experimenting and working the packaging! My goodness every detail was considered.

At the center of 𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓼 is Lloyd Billingham, a character and Resavoirian alter ego on a quest to develop a sleep aid. I insisted that Lloyd start his research by counting sheep at @belmaefarm . Lloyd continued his expedition to dreamland and enlisted the help of @gross.glass_ to make a mystical marble equipped with sleepytime powers. @thankyou.inc captured LLoyd’s dream journey from marble workshop to sand dunes to the woods, (also exhibited in a beautifully directed video)

Endlessly proud of Will for dedicating so much to realizing this project in such an intentional way. He self released this on his label L’univers. I have so much respect for his diy sensibility and am endlessly inspired by his music. Listen to the calming melodies of 𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓼 now, and don’t forget to buy a vinyl before you’re gently lulled into a slumber. more posts on this to come ! goodnight 😴
