October spirit is in the air, and it’s never been a better time than to be in downtown Amesbury! Come up to our space and watch the leave change color while doing a yoga pose, sitting in on a tarot workshop, watching the full moon ascend, or sipping one of our warm lattes. Regardless, we’re grateful for the community we’ve built and we’re always happy to welcome new friends to our space. You have a home here. We look forward to seeing you 🤍

Hosted by the Center for Sacred Window Studies Facilitated by Nicole Stratis Panelists: Stephen Roth, Karie Wik, Kara Crawford, Koa Nur and David Kaminker Craniosacral therapy is a modality that many of us may have heard of in the postpartum field, and perhaps we have received it ourselves, but have you ever wondered how this can truly support families during postpartum?

Gathering together teachers and practitioners from across the country in the field of craniosacral, we will hear how this gentle, yet potent practice has impacted them personally and their clients.

In this discussion, we’ll explore craniosacral therapy’s beneficial ripple throughout the layers of community that surround postpartum families.

From Sacred Window student, Nicole: This recipe is special to me as my mother bakes these every year during the holiday season. The smell of Anise wafts through the home and warms my heart. I’ve played with adapting these cookies to be a bit healthier and gluten-free. Adding the real anise seed uplevels the experience (hand ground with a mortar and pestle is an added touch of joy!❄️✨

Comment RECIPE below and we’ll send you a copy! Our Sacred Window students created this Winter Holiday Recipe Booklet, and when I first saw it, I felt my heart overflow. Not just because the recipes are beautiful—though they are—but because of what they represent. The generosity of our community. The willingness to share family stories and sacred traditions. The understanding that nourishment is always both practical and holy.

Inside these pages, you’ll find recipes passed down through generations, dishes created with postpartum healing in mind, and the wisdom of diverse food traditions woven together. Estonian gingerbread cookies fragrant with orange. Italian anisette treats that warm the home. Three Sisters stew honoring indigenous wisdom. Each one offered with love.

To the students who created this—Ixchel, Daisi, Nicole—thank you. Your gifts enrich this community in ways that ripple far beyond what we can see. You are living examples of what it means to be conscious caregivers, not just in how you serve families, but in how you show up for each other.

This is what we create together in our Sacred Window community. Women arrive seeking certification, skills, knowledge... and they discover sisterhood. They discover that learning to care for others begins with learning to be held in community themselves.
If you’ve been feeling the call to this work, we’re welcoming new students in January. Our winter cohort begins January 13th, and there’s room at the fire circle for you.

Comment RECIPE below to receive this cook booklet—a gift from our student family to yours, and a small glimpse into the warmth of this community.

With deep gratitude for the women who made this possible, and open arms for those who are ready to join us 🔥

There comes a moment when we look back and realize we were being guided long before we had language for the call.

For so many women drawn to conscious caregiving, the path begins in the hands, the body, the earth itself.

On the Sacred Window Podcast, I sat with Nicole @bodylanguage.partnership as she shared her journey from farming and herbalism into sacred touch and postpartum care—reminding us that technique refines what the body already knows, but presence is the true healer.

This conversation is about remembering. About listening. About honoring the body’s intelligence in the sacred window after birth.

This experience was SO enjoyable and I want more!

Last Wednesday, 6 women came to my humble abode to learn the Closing of the Bones ritual during an intimate 3ish hours together.

The purpose of this small gathering was to attune a few women to the ritual who missed the training in March, as well as a few who planned on attending my upcoming (now cancelled) events.

One of the ladies showed up with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and some fruit for us all to enjoy. Another one brought me a little gift of a zucchini relish that she made and canned herself. The sweet romance of feminine connection and tokens of friendship touch my heart!

We talked through a brief ceremonial flow in the beginning as we wrapped one of the women. We held an intention and prayer with and for her as part of this.

Then we moved into casual wrapping practice, non-ceremonial in nature as I went between the 2 groups offering plenty of guidance and feedback on all the big and little details that I was seeing. Each woman got to wrap 2 bodies and receive being wrapped once.

When it was over, I was absolutely reveling in how good it feels to share this ritual and how easily this teaching flows through me. It’s effortless presence and I improvise the entire time, the general structure is the only thing I plan. This event was so low key and low pressure!

6 more local women are ready to step out into their lives practicing this ritual on the women whose lives and bodies they are meant to touch- wow!

During pregnancy, (and perhaps even beyond,) small group learning experiences are feeling SO good for me!

I am open to scheduling a few more before I have my second child this winter.

Here are some details about these offerings:

- 3 hours long
- Minimum of 6 women, 9 preferred, 12 max
- $111 per woman, first 4 spaces will need to be filled by women who are also willing to purchase rebozos and bring them to the event for practice.
- I will need to host in other people’s spaces or homes for now until my family is established in our own home/ land. Those willing to host me contribute only $22 towards their attunement!
- I am willing to travel within 45 mins or less of Goffstown, NH

♥️🙏♥️

Shakti means “power” and it is the fundamental creative energy behind everything. Many see this as a feminine archetype because of this. With the use of breathwork, movement, meditation, mantra, philosophy, and self-inquiry you will awaken and focus your Shakti so that it can empower your transformation and creative capacity off of the mat.
