For the next three weeks, this group of actors, designers, and directors will work tirelessly to bring Jackson a musical experience like you’ve never seen before. Do not wait until we open to secure your tickets. Get your tickets today to see Ragtime The Musical May 26 - June 7. Call 601-948-3533 or visit our website at www.newstagetheatre.com “A dazzling, heart-stirring masterpiece. Ragtime delivers a powerful, timeless message that resonates long after the curtain falls.”— The New York Times It’s the dawn of the 20th century, and New York City is alive with change, innovation, and the vibrant rhythms of ragtime. This Tony Award-winning musical brings to life the intertwining stories of three families—a white, upper-middle-class family in New Rochelle, an African-American musician and his girlfriend in Harlem, and a Jewish immigrant and his daughter on the Lower East Side. Their journeys are shaped by the towering figures of the era, including the daring Harry Houdini, the visionary Booker T. Washington, the powerful J.P. Morgan, and the industrial titan Henry Ford. As their lives cross paths, Ragtime delves into issues of race, class, identity, and the American Dream, delivering a stirring, intimate production that speaks as profoundly to today’s world as it did a century ago. Recommended for ages 12+. New Stage Theatre 1100 Carlisle St. Jackson, MS 39202
