POV: The runway taught you how to take up space—now you’re creating a place where the next generation can learn to do the same. ✨

Every stage I’ve walked prepared me for this purpose. The confidence, discipline, courage, and resilience I gained weren’t just for the spotlight—they were preparing me to build an institution where young people can discover their own power.

I’m taking everything life taught me and turning it into opportunities, programs, and pathways for the next generation.

The runway was never the final destination. It was preparation.

From walking runways to building pathways. 💛

POV: You realize the runway was never the destination—it was preparation for the institution you were called to build.

Every fitting taught me patience.
Every correction taught me humility.
Every rejection taught me resilience.
Every runway taught me confidence, discipline, presence, and how to keep moving forward while people are watching.

Now, those experiences are becoming part of something greater.

Through the Academy of Confidence, I’m creating a runway leadership experience that will help K–12 students discover their voices, strengthen their self-worth, and develop the confidence to enter every room knowing they belong.

Purpose didn’t require me to abandon my gift.

It revealed who my gift was meant to serve.

I’m still walking the runway—but now, every step is helping me build one for the next generation. 💛✨

I’m Coming Out… ❤️✨💃🏾 naturally…

Seeing these images from the Baltimore MET Gala brought the entire look together for me.

Sean Bellamy’s vision was pure drama (as he would say “leaving them on RED” 🙂) — a long red sequined silhouette, corseted neckline, fur stole and monochromatic accessories — and I loved seeing how beautifully it translated on the runway. The design played into my long lines while giving me an entirely different character to bring to life.

And a little beauty BTS that makes these photos even more special to me: when I sat in the makeup chair, one of the first things my MUA said was, “Wow, look at your skin!” I laughed and said, “Yes, I get that a lot.” 😂

And I’m NOT wearing foundation in these photos.

We couldn’t get quite the right complexion match, so instead of covering my skin with something that wasn’t right, she worked with what I naturally had — Clear, Clean Skin — light brow coverage, eye shadow, bronzer/contouring, lashes and lip. And the hair? My locs — all my own hair — were transformed into a modern take on the classic beehive, giving the look that extra touch of vintage glamour while still feeling like a modern glamour girl.

Between the natural skin, the sculpted locs and Sean’s dramatic red design, I love how the finished look came together without losing me underneath it.

Thank you Sean Bellamy / @bemadebyb for trusting me once again to help bring your vision to life, and @itsLanaRae for producing such a memorable experience.

POV: The little girl who once felt different became the woman impossible to overlook. 💛

There was a time when constantly being the new student made me question where I belonged. Modeling became one of the places where I discovered my confidence, learned the power of presence, and stopped believing I needed to shrink myself to be accepted.

That is why this runway moment represents so much more than a beautiful look.

When I walk, I carry every version of myself who once needed reassurance that being different was not something to hide—it was something to own.

Now, I’m transforming those lessons into the Academy of Confidence at The Chocolate Paris Youth Leadership & Empowerment Center.

The goal isn’t to make every student a professional model. It’s to teach young people how to lift their heads, trust their voices, recognize their worth, and enter every room knowing they belong there.

One day, they’ll command their own stages.

Until then, I’ll keep walking—and building the runway that leads them there. 🖤✨
