Things are starting to heat up as the summer goes on. Guys are approaching the end of their first 6 week blocks and with that weight goes up and volume starts to taper down. Increase in too much weight will come with slower bar velocities. That’s where the intent card comes into play, having the “feel” of moving the bar as quick as possible rather than just trying to “get it up” is where we make the gains and adaptations we desire. Getting big is important but gotta stay big and bouncy to remain athletes. Driving intent and move through deep ROM’s equal freaky things happening. Interesting mobility techniques by @rossythrows at the end as well.

Sports specific training

The weight room has a specific job: build a bigger, stronger, more resilient engine.

Focus on the fundamentals: squats, hinges, presses, pulls, carries. Build real strength. Develop real power. Then take that horsepower onto the field and let your sport practice do the rest.

Take a behind the scenes look at our college baseball training ⚾️

These guys have been working their ass off for the past month, and it’s about time to send them back to campus to dominate. It’s been really cool to see this group dedicate to their goals, but also to helping others reach their potential as well!
