Just like that, the greatest chapter of my life so far has come to an end.
Verona Baseball, I will never forget the memories I’ve made and the strangers who became family. I’ll never take for granted the long bus rides with the team or the post practice McDonalds runs and the bonds we built along the way.
It wasn’t the ending I would’ve picked, but this team will always have a place in my heart, in the record book, and in the trophy case at VAHS.
I will miss every one of my teammates I’ve played with throughout the years. I can’t begin to express how proud I am to have been a Wildcat and to play for this town.

⚾️High emotion games make for great photos, too bad the run ended with Sectional Runner Up. However a step was taken this year with the first ever Big 8 Championship since joining the Big 8 in 2009! What a great season! Thank you Seniors! ⚾️

If there’s one thing I hate it’s losing. If there’s two things I hate it’s losing and getting cancer. #thankyouseniors❤️ #siuta #dirtyv #greasy #kennypowers
