I wrote this during a time when it felt like love was transactional, that I was giving people more than I was getting back, & it all felt so hopeless. I’m so proud of this record 4 many reasons but mainly bc I found my voice while making it <3 I hope u discover or rediscover urs as well, this is 4 the slayers I love u all endlessly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💝⭐️💝

Limbo, a film from @ben.ivers, @c.n_may, and @gnarlybay, will be premiering on Monday, November 18th @docnycfest . If you are attending the festival, come say hi to @meganarizmendi and Chris Gargani, who will be in attendance from our team!

At a glance, southern California’s Bombay Beach appears a forgotten ghost town. Yet, between rows of dilapidated houses, we see glimmers of vibrant community and art culture - remnants of the once beloved inland beach town. ‘Limbo’ is a short doc that revolves around the theme of rebirth, exploring its significance on both an individual and community level. It invites viewers to connect with the personal stories of individuals navigating their purpose in a community facing decline. The film serves as a reminder that in the midst of uncertainty, there are opportunities for positivity, renewal, and a brighter future.

This film started as a passion project between our very own @ben.ivers and collaborator @c.n_may and blossomed into the beautiful short that it is today. Larger release coming soon! Buy tickets at the link in our bio.

Follow Javier, Jimmy, and Miguel as they plunge into the Costa Rican jungles, on a mission to amplify the voice of untouched ecosystems facing extinction. Their quest? To inspire preservation through awe-inspiring documentation.

This is more than just a film—it’s a rally cry for conservation, captured through the lens of adventure.
