2nd half with #hofbrauhalf 🍺🥨! This was such a fun race and it was extra special because it was my sister and moms first official half marathon🎉 I can’t wait to run my next half in October and keep working towards getting that sub 2 hr. I love the memories from this race and running the same race with family and friends always makes it more special🫶🏼💕

Yesterday I became a marathoner! Thinking back to the first time I even ran 1 mile in middle school I was in tears and now I have completed my first marathon. This run was rough not only physically, mentally, but the heat made this run 10x more rough. I may have not finished in the time I trained for, but I showed myself how strong I really was and how determined I can be even when I felt like I couldn’t push through. I am grateful for my mom and fiancé that came and supported me, and the women I meant around mile 20 I am forever grateful for because you showed up when I needed it the most on this course and finished strong with me. Excuse some crying pics, until then I’ll see this course again in 2027(even though I swore I wouldn’t do a full again)!
