✨ What a journey! ✨

First and foremost, I’m so incredibly grateful to Erika’s Beauty for giving me this amazing opportunity to embark on my Wella Colour Expert journey! ❤️ The knowledge I’ve gained, everything I’ve learnt and the confidence I’ve built along the way has been incredible.

What made this experience even more special was the amazing group of girls I got to share it with. The laughter, support and encouragement meant so much! 🫶 To all the trainers, thank you for sharing your knowledge and for your endless patience. A special thank you to Jim, who went above and beyond, especially during those moments when I doubted myself. Your support meant the world to me! ❤️

It hasn’t always been easy, and there have definitely been a few emotional moments, but I wouldn’t change a thing! I’m so proud of how far I’ve come and cannot wait to bring everything I’ve learnt back to the salon and share it with my clients. 🥹❤️

Here’s to never stopping learning, growing and pushing yourself beyond what you thought was possible! 🥂✨

I PASSED!!!!

I’ve officially passed my Wella Colour Expert course! 🎓✨

It’s been a challenging journey at times, but one I’ve enjoyed so much. It’s pushed me out of my comfort zone, grown my confidence and given me a much better understanding of colour. I genuinely feel it’s made me a better colour technician, and I can’t wait to keep building on everything I’ve learned.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s helped, supported and encouraged me along the way. And of course, the girls in work for spraying me with a water bottle every time I needed to remember an answer 😂

Roll on November for our graduation 🥂

“No safeguarding at all.” 🛑 Is social media putting young hairdressers in danger?

Founder of @stylebookeducation and @stylebookdirectory Sarah Yorke says too many colleges are encouraging students to build public social profiles for their hair work. But as Sarah points out, throwing teenagers into open DMs with zero protection is a disaster waiting to happen.

@stylebookeducation is working to change that alongside City & Guilds—teaching students how to practice their digital skills safely within a controlled environment.

As an industry, we need to ask ourselves a hard question: Are we protecting our youngest team members online?

Salon Owners: Is social media safeguarding part of your business protocol? Colleges: How are you preparing students for digital safety?
