Truly humbled and honored to receive such amazing support tonight. I can’t thank my teammates, coaches, and family enough for helping me achieve my brown belt in BJJ. The journey has been long, challenging, often painful (figuratively and literally), but also rewarding and life changing. I owe a huge debt to all of the people who came along for the ride. Thank you to @dmaverbjj at @renzograciebjjwarwick for the privilege of accepting me as a student and coach. Thank you to the ladies who challenge me with every roll and for maintaining a space where the sisterhood is strong. Thank you to all of the gentleman at the academy who allow a female to train in an environment where we all feel respected and safe. Thank you to my family. Especially @mmalawyer who continues to champion my constant training and aspirations to compete over the age of 40. lol! I’m excited for the next level. 👊🏽🥋🎉🥰🤎
