Joy & happiness. That is the whole point. Shout out to @newbalancerunning for putting on such an EPIC event last Friday at the Lincoln park zoo! Twas a gorgeous night bringing together various teams of 10, all dividing and conquering a 10k loop AROUND THE ANIMALS! 🦏. That surely wasn’t on my 2026 bucket list but a time was had! ✨ #chimarathonweekend#newbalance#lincolnparkzoo#newbalancerunning

All City Mile has always been one of my favorite events that my crew (@run_csrd ) puts on. I went back and forth about writing a long-winded reflection and kick a verse or whatever, but that’s going to be for my Substack (the essay will be due out promptly in the summer of 2087, thank you). Regardless, the way this past Saturday morning filled up my heart was truly magical. I love this city. I love my people. I love us. Long live CSRD 🤘💅🤘💅

Run your mile. Help another girl run hers. When you register for the All City Mile, you’re helping another girl stay in the sport. We’re proud to support Bras for Girls, a nonprofit that provides free sports bras and breast health education to girls ages 8–18, removing barriers so they can stay active with confidence. Since 2017, they’ve supported more than 240,000 girls. A portion of every registration goes directly to Bras for Girls. After the mile stick around for one of the most fun events of the day, the BRAton 4x400 Relay! 📍 Shoreline Stadium 📅 July 18 🔗 Registration link in bio. #BrasForGirls #YourMileYourWay #SeattleRunning #allpacesallfaces
