Twenty years down with my favorite person and best friend. Fifty to go. Yes. We’re going to live to be 97. Pray for our children. Love you so much @ben_hanson_19

I will proudly say, we raised that T-Rex to the dinosaur they are today. 🦖

Four academic letters for this guy!!!!

I told Ben, “I’m glad we aren’t complete failures as parents.”

His response was, “To be fair, all we did was give him good genetics.”

It’s honestly so true though. Watching Sam grow from a little three year-old needing extra help to a senior graduating with honors and scholarships has been an amazing and humbling experience. He’s accomplished so much. So lucky to be his mom!

I chose him and now he suffers the consequences. For the last 6 days those consequences included:

⚓️ Watching me make friends with an entire cruise ship.
⚓️ Chatting with every single crew member I saw.
⚓️ Participating in random game shows and trivia events. Oh, and napkin folding.
⚓️Singing karaoke with me.

I know he loves me because he sat back, watched, laughed, and let me be a menace.🚢😈

Waaaaaay back in 2005, I was dating the cutest guy ever. He was sweet to me and made me priority. I hadn’t met his family yet (he was embarrassed 😉) but I was CERTAIN that he was my future husband. I was right and he is my very favorite. Hopefully, my gifts are better than our first Christmas. (They are, but he always out-gifts me.)

There are not even words for how much I love this man. Twenty years in and he’s still my favorite person to sit next to, laugh with, annoy on purpose, and steal warmth from. I know I can be a lot (like… a LOT), but he shows up anyway, every single day. He’s my calm, my chaos buffer, my number one hype man, and truly the greatest human on earth. I adore him. #bestfriend #husbandoftheyear #lovehimsomuch

Date night with my favorite Ute ❤️
Just a reminder to the fam: Ben’s Utah degree cost a small fortune, and between us we’ve got two BYU diplomas too.
Basically, we’re educated, caffeinated, and impossible to categorize. Go Utes.

No kids. Minimal phones. And I was the only one asking for snacks.

Just me, my sweetheart, a chocolate sundae, and a guaranteed trip to the chiropractor. Best day ever.

We rode rides without lugging backpacks. Didn’t have to referee a single fight. We sent Elly and Ash off to be the iconic teenagers they are—armed with “Find My Friends” and a debit card.

I may or may not have taken a 10-minute nap on a table. Zero regrets.

Happy birthday to my best friend, my favorite human, and the man behind the scenes keeping this whole operation from burning to the ground.

You support my crazy. You listen to stories about the girls and you know EXACTLY who is being crazy. You keep our family fed. By that, I mean you actually cook. You remember all the details that I forget. AAAANNNDDD you make sure the kids have clean laundry.

The dog respects you more than anyone.
He follows me around because I’m unhinged. But YOU are our steady. He looks for you because you remember when he’s outside, you give the best belly rubs and you always scramble eggs for him. #alpha

That being said, “I love you so much. You’re my best friend.” You know the rest 😉You are the best thing that ever happened to me. Happy birthday. Thank you for finally being the same age as me. Nine more months until I’m a cougar again 😘

19 years in—and he always says it feels like so much longer. 😂 Probably because I’ve packed enough chaos, trips, plan changes, and crazy plans to fill three lifetimes. From Ireland to Disneyland, East coast beaches (Topsail) to mountain lakes (Fish Lake), he’s survived every itinerary, every “trust me, it’ll be fun” moment, and all my big ideas. And somehow, he’s still married to me. Happy anniversary, Ben. You’re the calm to my crazy and the real MVP of this marriage. Also, will you grill me a hot dog???🌭 (Stop making me watch food videos at night. We’ve been doing this for 72 years.)
