DWC 2026🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆⭐️☁️

A roundup of the 8 routines I am so grateful to have choreographed for DWC this year.

4 completely different styles. Including song and dance, jazz, contemporary and commercial. Solos, duets and troupes.

It was a challenge at times, to make sure I was happy with everything that was going on stage and I did second guess myself many times but who doesn’t?!

Left with some absolutely incredible memories and results.

A world champion, 2 runners up, a 6th place, an 8th place and a 12th and 13th. SO PROUD! 🥹

Bookings are already open for DWC next year! Please reach out if I can help 🤎

@truebluedanceacademy_ providing the best students to work with as always! You guys know the love 💙 Same time again next year?¿👀

Perfect for me - Ben Lee & Lacey Phillips 😭✨

When you reach this stage of your life and you’re still choosing to compete and perform, it’s because you genuinely love it. It’s your passion, it’s your life, and no matter how much older you get, nothing compares to being on stage.

Training as a professional dancer isn’t easy. There are countless obstacles along the way, but it’s how you overcome them that makes you a stronger performer. That’s exactly what happened here.

With experience also comes perspective. You learn that dance is subjective, and one person or one panel’s decision doesn’t define your talent. Although these two didn’t place in the top 10 at the Dance World Cup Finals, that really didn’t matter, as they knew they had given absolutely everything. They delivered a truly professional, faultless performance and were incredibly proud to share the stage as duet partners one last time 🥲💔

Watching them perform, was simply breathtaking, beautifully danced, technically strong, and a fitting farewell to such a magical partnership. I’m not crying you are 🥹🥲.

Some performances are worth far more than a medal, placing or acknowledgement, and this was undoubtedly one of them. Seeing you both be so proud of your performance, and being that HUGE inspiration for so many young dancers who look up to you, just goes to show, one opinion does not define your talent.

Lacey & Ben, my beautiful pair, this was simply STUNNING 🥲🥹✨

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 BEN LEE - DANCE WORLD CUP SENIOR JAZZ SOLOIST 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

2ND IN THE WORLD!!!🌎😭🥈

Wow wow & WOW!!! Never in a million years did we think we would be coming home with MEDALS at the Dance World Cup Finals! To get here was a huge achievement within itself, but to be only half way through the week and already having a runner up WORLD CHAMP!!! What do you mean 🥹😭

Ben, you gave your absolute EVERYTHING last night, you couldn’t have gave anything more. To be competing against professionals, 5+ years older than you, in a fantastic section and walking away as RUNNER UP!!! Pinch us 🥹☁️✨

You wanted that. Your performance was nothing short of exceptional. Stylish, strong & secure technique, neat and a completely professional entertaining routine from start to finish.

We never doubted you, but to achieve this is absolutely MEGA!!! So proud you have been recognised for your talent and commitment to what you do.

Over the moon!!!!!

Our boy ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆✨
