🤝⚡️ Nothing means more than a reorder.

Huge thanks to @alldaytattoostudio.ankenyia for trusting us again with another round of shop apparel. From bold black classics to these loud golden yellows, every piece is built to be worn in the studio and beyond. 🐅🖤💛

We love seeing Iowa artists support Iowa artists. Here’s to creating more wearable art together and keeping great tattoo culture thriving right here at home. Thanks for letting us be a small part of your story @ben_madren . 🙏🎨

It’s been one of those months—full calendars, quick turnarounds, and a lot of moments worth holding on to.

And we are so grateful for a full, busy, beautiful season of life over here.

This month has been a lot in the very best way.

Prom, dance competitions, baseball, track, football…

And watching these kids show up again and again for the things they care about - the effort, the commitment, the growth & the way they do it all so independently - it’s been pretty incredible to witness.

Some really special moments mixed in too—Rian and her duet partner Garrett recently took 6th overall at their last competition, and now the team is heading into their final competition of the season before regionals and then nationals.

And today, Max gets the opportunity to run at the Drake Relays!

So if you’re at the Drake relays today, keep an eye out for him around:
5:09 – 1600 medley
6:07 – 4x100
7:02 – 4x400 (mixed)

And if you’re looking for something to do this weekend - catch Rian & her dance team at the varied industries building for their final competition of the season!

Just really proud for these kids and their effort behind it all & we’re just soaking it all in before it’s over! 🤍
{this season is fleeting, isn’t it?!}

Ben always has solid merch at the shop too — go show some love to a great local studio.

We love printing for artists and shops doing it right. Supporting the tattoo community is what it’s all about.

Puerto Rico, we’re coming in HOT. 🔥🌴
Catch these tees at the @pr_tattoo_convention — Dec 5–7, 2025 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan.

We printed this batch for our buddy @ben_madren from @alldaytattoostudio.ankenyia Tattoo & Art Studio in Ankeny, Iowa — and y’all already know, when we print for artists, we treat even a one-color tee like wearable art. 🎨🖤

At Boyd Creative, we do things differently:
✨ We actually listen to artists — their vision, their timeline, their budget.
✨ We make one-color prints look bold, clean, and intentional.
✨ We match their energy, their style, and the story behind their work.
✨ We’re artists too — so the details matter, every single time.

If you’re at the show, go find Ben, grab some fresh ink, and snag a shirt before they’re gone. ⚡️

My sweet boy…not really a boy anymore but a young man.

I remember like it was yesterday when you were 3 & you said to me, “I can’t wait until I’m a teenager - then I can make pancakes. Teenagers can make pancakes whenever they want.”

Well here we are - THIRTEEN.
FINALLY a teenager.
Although, I think your goals have shifted a bit.

And watching the little boy in you fade into memory as the young man steps forward is a tender ache wrapped in deep gratitude.

Getting to walk beside you as you grow into yourself, with courage, kindness, and that same spark that’s always made you you {iyk max then yk} is one of the greatest priveleges of my life.

Thirteen suits you, Maxwell. You’re ready.

And even if your teenage goals have shifted a bit, I hope you always chase life with the same wonder, humor, adventure, and heart that you always have.

I love you endlessly, my sweet boy, and I’m so proud of the young man you’re becoming.

Happy THIRTEENTH birthday, Max! 🤍
