As we’ve had some cold days, I was reminded of this time of year about 2 years ago.

I was asked to partner with @millergenuinedraft for their Sounds Of the City (SOTC) project through a UK media agency. The idea of this project was to start in Miller’s hometown and pick an artist from MKE to capture organic sounds from local places and use them in the video. Them being from the UK, it was really up to me to pull as many pieces and people from my community as possible and BOY did yall come thru! This was my first time doing a huge corporate project like this so this whole time I’ve been confused and left with no explanation of why it’s fallen thru - from either party - I haven’t heard anything and I’ve given it some time - so I’m sharing this for US!

THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY THAT PARTICIPATED!!! I didn’t have alot of time to get ppl or places together and I love how it all flowed. I had so much fun getting a glimpse of acting on film and being the spotlight while letting others shine. There were lots of laughs, walks, and PICS thanks to @melbourne_russell_photo (he dropped some of our photos earlier this year, check em out! I’ll also be posting some of my faves soon) We made our UK & NY friends feel very welcomed. I also appreciated them for not having the stereotypical “mke” views and immersing themselves in our culture ✨

We’ve got cameos from clients, DJs (legends like @djgee_a , and friends from the east side to Bay View. Please comment & tag yourselves/others that you know!

Places:
@hificafemke @bremencafemke @nostudiosmke @mkecountyparks , @tymeless_studios , Rushmor records, skate park by 6th & National Ave, Swing Park, etc.

Sounds: b-ball game, pinball machine, coffee machine, glass bottles, skateboarding, record playing (ofc), and some packs from @cymaticsfm and @bakersmusic @beatsbyvanitytv

Music: @djdripsweat

Drip: Sweat, Juice Jacket, hwhite @converse , Sweat Merch, random ass Sweden geographical location-ed, dusty bucket hat, cute pink glasses I might’ve lost, @twloha suicide prevention “You are Wonderful” shirt

I appreciated the opportunity. Look fwd to more.

Idk if it’s still Miller Time… but Milwaukee, it IS Ours

And it’s ALWAYS Mine. 💦
