Just about 3 months ago now, I found myself at the end of a long semester of school and a brutal season in the Front Range with minimal success. With 9 days left in my winter break and 4 days of rain in the forecast, I made the last minute call to pack up my car and meet my good friends @benburrk and @brett_walker_13 in the desert to test ourselves on some of the best hard boulder problems the West has to offer 🤠!
The three of us, armed with @zachgalla 's camcorder, had one of the most memorable weeks of climbing I’ve ever experienced and I ultimately drive home feeling the most motivated and reinvigorated I’ve felt in years. 6 weeks later I drove back for my spring break to continue battle with @dawoods89’s “The Nest”, once again captured by Ben behind the camera.
Yesterday, after months of hard work, Ben finally finished editing all the footage we captured. I haven’t been this excited about a piece of climbing media in a long time, and I think the end result wonderfully captures the joy and catharsis of our time spent in the desert. I’ll throw the link in my bio - if you have a moment, check it out!

And, as always, thank you to our @tensionclimbing friends for all the love and support along this journey and over the years :) ❤️
