🏀 SPM alumni, courtside! 🔥

Last night, our Portland-area alumni came together for a night with the Portland Fire, and a chance to reconnect, catch up, and make some new connections along the way.

Because the SPM experience doesn’t end at graduation. 💚💛 Our alumni community continues to show up for one another, across cohorts, careers, and the sports and outdoor product industry.

Here’s a look at a fun night with some of the people who make this community so special. 🏀

And Portland alumni, we’re just getting started. More opportunities to connect are coming this year!

*update*
Race canceled due to smoke and fires in Central Oregon.
Definitely bummed, but everyone's safety is more important.
Onward.

🎓 That’s a wrap for the SPM Class of 2026.

Last Friday, we celebrated an incredible group of innovators, creators, and future leaders who are ready to shape the global sports and outdoor product industry.

Over the past 18 months, this cohort pushed boundaries, building products, solving real industry challenges, collaborating across disciplines, and turning ideas into market-ready concepts. From the Innovation Lab to industry projects, they’ve proven what’s possible when passion meets purpose.

The journey doesn’t end here; it’s just getting started. 🌎

Congratulations, Class of 2026. We can’t wait to see the impact you make.

💚 Once a Duck, always a Duck.

Big congrats to Ezequiel Mendez, Maddie Haden, Nathan Kaku, Spencer Jackson, Spyros Vaselopulos, and Zach Meyer 👏

Over the last five months, these SPM students stepped into the Maker’s Lab through our partnership with adidas, moving beyond theory and into hands-on footwear and apparel creation.

From materials and patterning to construction and consumer-driven design, they brought real concepts to life alongside adidas mentors.

Real industry access. Real ownership. Real product outcomes. Congratulations everyone!

Shoutout to Zach for making these fun team shirts!

Some ideas stay in notebooks. This one didn’t! 🪄 ✨Grateful for the people who made it real.👟

What started as a sketch evolved into a full footwear concept presented to the adidas team. I designed my own shoe, picked materials, sewed it, and pitched my own product! But more than building a shoe, I learned what it truly takes to build product cross-functionally with sample room and pattern makers and with the consumer at the center.

Closing this chapter with @adidas as a Creative Exploration Apprentice and I’m incredibly grateful to be selected for this opportunity! 🖤🤍
