From last pick…to pics with the captain of New York!

Psychologists call it “unplanned happenstance”: a lot of success across career and personal life comes from unplanned events, and the people who benefit from it are the ones who keep showing up and saying yes when opportunities appear.

That’s what happened to me when I kept showing up and hooping, and trying to make things happen for the love of the game of basketball. Shoutout to folks who were inspired me like @bench2baller and @dreamwithkev for being consistent and relentless at what they do. Shoutout @aadorg for showing up month in and month out for the AAPI community in NYC. And shoutout to the homies @jeffreyzhang, @perryleong, @b_yanggg for ballin out and pushing me to be better.

So yeah… even if you aren’t naturally “talented” at something from the get-go, you never know what heights you can reach just by continuing to show up and making things happen for yourself and other people. Oh yeah, and we just getting started out here 💯

Barclays or MSG, where you at?

I have too many photos in my camera roll and I’ve procrastinated too long in sharing. Here’s 20 to start :)

Funny how life just speeds up even faster when you try to slow down. Just the way it is. Have to stay humble and grateful

🚨 T-4 days 🚨

I am currently 4 days away before I take on the task of making 1,000 3 pointers for mental health awareness month.

Here I have some messages and words of encouragement from a few of my buddies wishing me luck and also touching on their own personal experiences with mental health. The fellas all have completely different lives. One being an NBA starter and having a 10 year NBA career, one being a NCAA March madness legend, one playing division one basketball at Colgate, going on to play professionally overseas and creating a YouTube platform to share his experiences with young players. One who just picked up basketball recently and is taking everyone on social media along his journey to play basketball with him and finally one is arguably the greatest Gaelic footballer ever and also played in Irelands top basketball leagues into his 40's. Same sport, same planet but totally different experiences.

Take a listen to what the boys have to say 🎧
