I can’t offer you the service to take you to places like this…. But I can offer you the time to teach you the skills so you can get there on your own with your mates.

They saying is, give a person a fish and they eat for a day. But teach them how to fish and they will eat for a lifetime.

So join me this June for my annual spring pack clinic here in the Methow Valley, WA.

I’ll teach you everything I know about Decker and Sawbuck packing that I’ve learned over the last 20 years, and a few things most have never seen before.

》 "Deep in the Heart 2: Texas Rivers is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2022 hit documentary Deep in the Heart: A Texas Wildlife Story, written and directed by Ben Masters @bencmasters . Where the original film celebrated Texas’ diverse wildlife landscapes with Matthew McConaughey as narrator, Texas Rivers narrows its focus to the state’s most vital natural resource: water. Narrated by Austin’s own Ethan Hawke, the film is a love letter to Texas rivers and a wake-up call about their future."~ @finandfurfilms

"Springs are the beating heart of our rivers, like a quiet, everlasting miracle. They give us water and the magic of life. The springs give birth to a river which delivers life to countless creatures and nourishes its city.

Unsustainable aquifer pumping has dropped the water table so low that many of the historic springs have stopped flowing. Without the springs, the river has stopped regularly running and is reduced to pools that slowly diminish under the sun. The fish and aquatic life have no place to go. This sight of decaying rivers and springs is spreading across Texas. We are witnessing a natural disaster of our own making that is preventable and can be reversed.

In other Texas cities, the river thrives because its citizens have raised their voices to protect their water and use their votes to ensure it always flows." ~ Ben Masters

This was a very well-made documentary with gorgeous cinematography, heartwarming footage, amazing narration by @ethanhawke which also delivered a very inspiring message.
