my heart is set and I won’t back down ❤️‍🔥

“Hero Too” from My Hero Academia is the first song I was invited to sing with The Anime Band as a featured artist for their first show with @animenightparty back in January. I’m not going to lie, I was pretty nervous and didn’t know if I was the right fit for the job with such little anime knowledge. I actually tried turning down the offer out of fear but with the encouragement and support of @lordspaghettisupreme and @tuccarello, I simply had to say yes. I started watching the show and was completely inspired by the underlying themes and what the music meant. I, too, could become a hero.

After that performance I was invited to join the band full time and said yes without hesitation. This group of musicians is so immensely kind, talented, and fun to work with. I couldn’t be more proud to be apart of this beautiful thing we have going.

Thank you to everyone who has been to shows, shared our posts, and purchased merchandise. We couldn’t do any of this without you. We’re so happy you love what you love and show up the way you do. We have the coolest fans ever. Truly, thank you.

🤍
