I really meant to post this a lot earlier, but I wanted to thank @retroworldexpo , @connecticutchildrens , and @extralifect for your support, consideration, and enthusiasm for all the friendly, talented, and brilliant cosplayers who participated in RetroWorld Expo's Cosplay Contest this year, and for choosing my cosplay of Vivi from Final Fantasy IX as this year's first place winner. I am so grateful for the all the judges' time and support, as well as the community enthusiasm for cosplay and nerd culture. Thank you to @ultimate_wireless_llc for your providing awesome prizes and extended interest in con culture, and to @bbbanks_360_photobooth for the wonderful complimentary 360 booth experiences you offered to the winners and Judge's Choice cosplayers. ❤️

I am also thankful for my ever-supportive partner @gappyfrog, who was reigning champion of last year's cosplay contest at RetroWorld, who encouraged me to participate even though I felt nervous, afraid, and as though I couldn't measure up to the people around me. Her faith in me helped me feel brave to try something new (participating in a cosplay contest in front of an audience!)! The people I met backstage were truly kind, skilled, friendly, and brilliant individuals that I am honored to say are members of our local cosplay and convention community ❤️ meeting you was a highlight of the day 💕

Vivi is an important character to me and I was truly happy to showcase a character I love and a cosplay I put a great deal of challenging and new skills into in order to portray him as best I could. Thank you to everyone at the con who complimented my cosplay and talked to us about Final Fantasy. It always makes me happy and grateful 🎀🌟

Day 2 at @RetroWorldExpo and I’m feeling fierce in my Rosario Vampire cosplay! Today’s the day I finally reveal my face... wish me luck! Moka Akashiya has taken over, and I’m ready to sink my fangs into this con! Had an amazing time meeting fellow cosplayers and capturing some awesome moments together.

Check them out! Would love to collab with @RetroWorldExpo on future cosplay features! #RetroWorldExpo #RosarioVampire #MokaAkashiya #CosplayReveal #Collaboration #GamingCommunity #LifestyleBlogger #CosplayLife #GamerGirl #AnimeCosplay #MangaInspired #OtakuCulture #CosplayInspiration #GamingEvents #ConLife
