Happy to announce that Resonance will be screening at both @ealingfilmfestival and @kerryintfilmfest next month on Saturday the 17th of October! At Ealing, it’ll be part of Saturday Selected Films: Block 3 at Ealing Picturehouse, followed, rather nicely, by a talk with Charlie Brooker! Later than evening in Kerry, it’ll be screening as part of Spooky Shorts at St Mary’s Church at 9pm. Delighted to have the film included in both programmes 🎧

Aiesha Wong (@aiiwong) and Ben Goddard from @chalkband are opening up season 2! Ben Goddard is one half of Chalk: the project of award-winning musicians and filmmaker duo Ross Cullen and Benedict Goddard. An informed mix of Dublin’s Guitar Band scene and the sweaty hardcore dance floors of their native Belfast, Chalk are @idlesband meets @danielmarkavery, Death Grips meets @feelmybicep - techno-infused industrial punk.  Ben Goddard also has a keen eye for filmmaking, directing / co-directing many of Chalk’s music videos as well as his short film “Resonance” (written and directed) which was premiered at the @galwayfilm Fleadh this year. Resonance: “A film composer grappling with sudden onset tinnitus scores a cursed silent film from the 1920s, uncovering horrors beyond sound and silence.” Aiesha Wong is a multidisciplinary artist with hands in photography, videography, graphic design, dance and creative direction. As seen in the @nytimes, @hypebeast, @irishtimesnews, @DistrictMagazine, and more, Aiesha’s work lands primarily in the music scene; having shot the entire Irish festival circuit in 2025 as well as working alongside clients throughout the year such as @jameson_ireland and @guinness_ireland, and in-house for live music promoters @pod.ie and @aikenpromotions. Episode 1 is out tomorrow. Link in bio to subscribe. #ArtToArt #Chalk @benhardiegoddard @thebigromance
