#NeuralEpidural 131: HEY, QUICK REMINDER: YOUR DECISIONS AFFECT THE LIVES OF OTHERS.

aka:
“THE ULTIMATE HIDDEN TRUTH
OF THE WORLD IS THAT IT IS
SOMETHING WE MAKE,
AND COULD JUST AS EASILY,
MAKE DIFFERENTLY”
#AdamCurtis

aka:
“I JUST LEARNED THAT THINGS HAVE NO FIXED AND INDEPENDENT ESSENCE, AND EVERYTHING EXISTS IN RELATION TO EVERYTHING ELSE, ALL THINGS ARISE AND ALL THINGS PASS AWAY, AND THROUGH THIS REALIZATION I SAW MY OWN TRUE NATURE, BEYOND CONCEPT AND ILLUSION.” (This quote now available as a bumper stick by @sightstudy)

EDITOR’S NOTE: Please if something resonates with you SHARE IT. I’ve been either making, designing or sourcing these quotes and videos, editing them and putting some to music, and I created the hashtag #NeuralEpidural so folks can click it and dig back to the origins of the series.

ALSO, I’ve been moving fast with making these so if I don’t credit someone (by tagging them in the lower left corner on that slide) and you know who they are, please lmk so I can.

Really let these sink in, and please help me spread them around. I hope they get in you and exfoliate your psyche so we can all wake up, heal and get to work.

Also, PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE UPSCROLLED APP & follow me there. Much love,

- Jeremy

This video is dedicated to V and Yeontan, one of the sweetest and sassiest dogs. That was a popular description of Yeontan years ago: sassy! And his raised eyebrows where you just know he was judging 😂

Thus when I saw his raised eyebrows in the MV, I knew which photo to match it to — the one where he is peeking in the doorway.

All of these photos and videos of Yeontan are actually my favorite and I know them the best.

The one of Yeontan taken through a wine glass is cute for two reasons:

1) his cute face fits behind the wine glass and

2) him sitting in the dining room chair. Of course, a seat at the table because he was V’s # 1.

The photo of Yeontan sitting in the box with the KAWS x Sesame Street plushes does not need any explanation beyond it being the cutest thing ever.

There is another video of Yeontan that I love but it doesn’t match the Bing Crosby x V ‘White Christmas’ MV. It is one where V takes Yeontan through the series of tricks, which he easily does. Yeontan is given a treat at the end, he takes it, turns around and walks straight out of the room 😆😂 He had so much personality and that is why I called him the king of the castle (V’s apartment.)

The Bing Crosby x V “White Christmas” MV features Yeontan well, and it must mean a lot to V. The song is a great collab, a new version of a classic song.

@louisepretzel thank you sooo much for you amazing work, You and your colleagues have done a wonderful job and I am very grateful to you for that. It's very sad for us to see Yeontan leave us like this but because of your kind gesture, we got another memorable moment with him which is very heart touching And through this, a lovely image of him will keep reminding people of him in the times to come.
