Chile .. I’m really learning to just GO. ✨ I’m trying my best.

I keep saying I’m in my season of suddenly, and I’m realizing suddenly isn’t always about getting the “thing.” I’ve been praying for new relationships, elevation, new opportunities and new rooms to share my gifts. And baby… the rooms are ROOMING. 😂🙌🏾

Last night at @retreatbytgs was another reminder. Old faces, new faces, good energy and possibilities everywhere.

Shoutout to my new friend @tharonljohnson . One conversation turned into a podcast interview, another invitation, another room and now so many new ideas.

And somehow, GOLF is finding its way back to me too. ⛳️ My dad introduced me to the game, and after he passed, I let that love fade. But lately, that spark has been reignited. Thank you sis @beninsaffo for hanging out on a school night. 🥹

Soooo… is it time for an Abeille Creations takeover on the greens?! 👀🎨⛳️ Because y’all know COLOR is coming with me! *^ wink wink ^* ( also … get ready for the heat from me and @jailyle ).

When the email comes, the call comes, the invitation comes… GO. You literally never know what’s on the other side of it… or who 😏.

An unforgettable time on the vineyard ❤️ From making so many new friends to running into old ones, even bumped into the owner of Jnane Tamsna (the property I stayed at when I visited Morocco). Plus I got to spend quality time with the Williams family, who’ve always been so gracious and have become my adopted family over 20 years! So grateful for it all and the last slide sums up how I left the island; with a full heart and heavy eyelids lol

May was magical and it was all about the Girls ✨

From seeing Ari Lennox and Alex Isley in concert for the first time with my name twin @thedezignher to traveling to Atlanta to celebrate my college besties birthdays @instagrettad & @lexxiianna 🎉

oh & we love a girls dinner feat. @luxe_sheree and @beninsaffo 🖤
To traveling to Chicago to spend quality time with my sisters @iambrittanyashanti & @phenomenal_pearl and meeting one of my favorite comedians @lavelledontae who loves the girls down a time was had. 🤣

Pumped my peach 🍑 with @heaventaylorwynn and gave back to FAMU with my sis @saundradee 🧡💚

It was a busy month but it filled my cup and now I’m entering June refreshed and looking forward to slowing the pace and creating more intentional habits for the 2nd half of the year.

I kicked off this month with finally facing my fears of deep water and I’ve enrolled in swim lessons for the summer 🙃🥴🫣 I’ll make sure to report back lol

I hope June is good to you and remember that mental health awareness doesn’t end because May did. Continue to pour into you and prioritize your peace 🧘🏽‍♀️

2025 was challenging, but I was never alone.

The people in my corner made it so memorable, and supported me with so much love and care. Instead of my usual clips of all the fabulous things I did this year (I didn’t get on a plane once, like who am I??) this one is a tribute to those that poured into me. I had God, my family, and friends near and far to hold me up. I laughed and danced just as much as I cried and for that I am so blessed. To everyone in my life (whether you’re in this video or not) thank you for being a part of it in spite of my shortcomings, and for never letting me sink down as far as I wanted to go. You’ve helped me grow into a spiritually, mentally and physically healthier version of myself this year. All my love, JB 🤍

A few weeks ago I watched a butterfly trying to cross a busy intersection. I was so emotionally invested in its journey, audibly rooting for it from my car with a tear in my eye 😅. The wind from the speeding traffic kept blowing it every which way, but it kept fighting and pushing through to get to the other side of the street - its tiny little wings beating fiercely with more determination then a lot of humans have. That’s how August felt for me. Here are a few moments that still made it beautiful. 🦋

As usual, I had hard time trying to fit this 2024 recap into a minute and 30 seconds. And I realized it’s because I stuffed as many experiences into this year as possible. I’m not sure if it was a good or bad thing because I am experiencing a pretty bad burnout. I felt like I really had to see and do whatever I could in this milestone of a year, so I said YES to life! It wasn’t always as wonderful as these clips show, but it was always beautiful. And the drive in me still says it wasn’t enough. So how do I top that in 2025? I’m sure I’ll find a way 😉. Thank you to everyone who continues to be a part of this journey with me

-Had an epic birthday where people flew in from all over to show me so much love
-Took 22 flights
-Went to 4 concerts
-Saw symphonies, ballets, and operas
-Went to museums and galleries
- Experienced my first rodeo
- Took pottery classes
-Invested in my first real art pieces
-Dressed up for parties and dinners
-Dressed down for staycations
-Celebrated birthdays, weddings and new babies
-Paid respects at funerals
-Went home to Rhode Island, which I hadn’t seen since 2019
-Took my mother to Morocco for her 70th
-Art directed 5 shoots
-Worked with rock star creatives
-Celebrated my puppy turning 1
-Read over 30 books
And of course, filled my down time with so many family memories

September has come to an end I can honestly say it’s the best one I’ve had in years! Closing it out with some photos I have been curating from my “Sunset on 30s” birthday party. Every time I look at these I feel so warm and fuzzy. I’m so appreciative to have such fun, supportive caring and beautiful family and friends to share life with. And they all followed the mood board and understood the assignment - one of my fave love languages 🥰🌅💃🏽 #goodbyeseptember #40thbirthday
