Bobby Roth is one of the hardest working directors in television— @prisonbreak, Lost, The Sheild… we worked on Numbers together @cbstv after meeting on @lifetimetv early in my career… after over two decades of friendship and working together, it’s wonderful to be able to come together in our shared mission to keep independent art alive and empower communities to galvanize. @petits_salons is screening his latest film Lightworkers this Monday October 12th which spotlights the power of the people through voices like @tommorello and @springsteen. Lightworkers is a documentary feature currently making a huge grassroots impact just ahead of the midterms: Directed by Bobby, it explores civic action, democracy, and what ordinary individuals can do to protect democratic institutions. @bobbyrothmasterclass has been a mentor and inspiration. It’s an honor to be able to amplify his voice and share his wisdom and experience with our community. I hope you can join us if you’re in Los Angeles. An inspiring afternoon with Dame Anya Hindmarch, founder of her own London-based luxury brand featuring organization-obsessed accessories, and known for her groundbreaking work in sustainability as well as her disarming, playful elegance. I picked up her book, If In Doubt, Wash Your Hair, this morning at 5am and didn't put it down until the last line, which I'm compelled to share. After some of the most extraordinary advice on how to be a mother of five, a successful entrepreneur, an activist, and a great friend, she writes (please imagine her saying this with her gently sophisticated British accent, like I did reading the entire book @anyahindmarchpersonal): "Life is just a wiggle. We are all just wiggling our way from the beginning of our lives to the end and trying to do the best we can. The wiggling feels like it matters dreadfully, but ultimately not a lot of it really does. I would love my wiggly line to leave a bit of a mark, to make a difference. I am up for trying. But what really matters is to be healthy, to be kind, and to pass that baton well." I can't wait to show you the @anyahindmarch personalized Moon House luggage I have coming my way! So much love and gratitude to my dear friend @zoekuipers @zoecommunications, who continues to introduce me to the most extraordinary creatives and visionaries, and never fails to throw an unforgettable and stunningly beautiful event with @fashiontrustus. @jhjulieharrah what a gorgeous home, exemplifying everything that makes Los Angeles a magical place to live.

Moon House tours the Martin Renovation where Flavia and Bobby explore the living room’s defining elements, beginning with the search for a grand, sculptural light fixture. Their eye is set on the delicate paper pendants by @ingomaurer_official whose lightweight geometric forms bring warmth and artistry to the ceiling plane. Rich wood paneling will envelop the fireplace by @woodworking.masters while a refined marble detail at its base creates a seamless visual link between the dining room and living space. @tristoneandtile @stoneguardsocal To soften the composition and bring life to the corner of the space, the team is also considering a beautiful sculptural ficus @thetropicshollywood 🌴 Beyond materials and finishes, this episode is about connection. From first introductions to the trust that has grown between the design team, the homeowners, and now Moon House. We are grateful for the journey taking shape. Episode 3 coming soon. Stay tuned! Moon House is expanding to include the Martin renovation on our mission to bring awareness to conscious design. Today we are talking through early ideas for the kids’ bedroom and outdoor space: ceiling wallpaper, whimsical canopies hung from the ceiling, and warm blue tones, with the possibility of a Meoded limewash or plaster finish bringing warm, textured movement to the walls. We’re also exploring connecting the Martins with Woodworking Masters for a potential partnership, as they consider wood paneling for the dining room and fireplace, which could create a cohesive, wood-toned feel throughout that part of the home. @woodworking.masters are truly are the sweetest people, and their artistry and craftsmanship is unmatched. From there, we discussed early ideas for the living room, envisioning minimal styling with a curated mix of mid-century and vintage finds, deep lounge sofas, rich fabrics, and standout vintage pieces. And there’s more to come, we’ll be joining the Martins and their designers on a vintage shopping trip across LA, hitting spots like Lone Fox @lonefoxhome Orange Furniture @orangefurniture, and the Rose Bowl @rosebowl_fleamarket. Stay tuned for more! Moon House is a Creative Living & Conscious Design Project by @sarah_carter_oxox with @kelseyraesovereign inspiring heartfelt choices.
