Repost from @farmleague

Welcome to the Farm League roster, @benjamin_sonntag!

Benjamin’s work captures the paradoxes of life: warmth and rawness, simplicity and scale. From tales of triumph against the odds to snapshots of the quiet moments that define us, his respect for artistry and craft are a constant undertone.

This post is specifically a celebration of every director who’s ever been a part of the Rakish family (you all know who you are). A commercial production company — to the world, anyway — is in fact its roster and not much more. The people, souls, hearts, minds that we had the pleasure of creating with these several years are, to this day, are some of the best humans I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.

So again, you know who are you.

In the Don Draper-Kodak carousel above, we share some of the work we’ve been proudest to have produced at Rakish over the years. Pourin’ it out for these gold encrusted gems that I’ll have featured in a montage at my funeral in 100 years.

Recreational Boating & Fishing, “Find Your Best Self on the Water”, Fern Berresford

Kotex, “Progress Looks Like”, Jaci Judelson

Courageous Conversations, “Not a Gun”, Kevin Foley

IL Lottery, “Claude”, Matt Smukler

Dramamine, “The Last Barf Bag”, Sunny Sixteen

Kia, “Silence is Powerful”, Marc Forster

FanDuel, “Anthem”, TWIN

Zoetis, “Long Live The Horse”, Benjamin Sonntag

GMC, “Weekend Starts Now”, Noah Marshall

Well today's the day, eight years in the making, and it took many many people to make it. @jesszillathefilm is finally out for the whole world to see on Apple, Prime, Google, and more! It is the longest, most challenging, and equally the most rewarding thing I have ever been a part of.

I have so many mixed emotions, but first and foremost, I feel an immense amount of pride and gratitude to have gotten a chance to work on this project. Not just because I think this is a great film and because I got an opportunity to work with so many talented filmmakers; but because I got to befriend Pedro and Jess, two of the best people around. It's also because I believe this film will have real meaning outside of the theater by making a significant impact raising funds and awareness for DIPG/DMG research through @jesselyn_silva fund with @curechildcancer.

I wish we could celebrate with Jess as I know she'd be just as proud and happy as the rest of us. I miss her dearly and I'm thankful for the chance to have met this one of a kind soul. I'm sure she's cheering us on.

Thank you to our incredibly talented and incredibly generous crew. It's rare to feel that everyone who worked on this project cares deeply about the film, the subjects, and each other. We got lucky and this is one of those rare times where everyone gave their all. We couldn't have done it without you.

Thanks to all those who have seen the film, who gave us feedback to work on, who have given us support and encouragement throughout the many years. Friends, family, and strangers alike all helped us with their kind words and encouragement.

And finally, @emilysheskin, the biggest thank you and brava to you for being the best Director and business partner. You're an immensely talented filmmaker but better yet you're an even better person. It's because of your care for others and your tireless drive to be kind and honest, that we have the film we have. Thank you for everything: for finding Jess, for choosing to work with me, to funding the film, to giving amazing guidance and direction, to being open to Ben's choice, to making social assets and cleaning up timelines, the list goes on.
