NEW SIGNING: Benjamin Brett is locked in for 2027! 🐶✍🏼

Benjamin Brett has put pen to paper @ ASA Park for S27! 🔏

At 24 years of age, Bretty is a left footer with a strong presence around goal & we are rapt to have him on board as we embark on a new era down at the kennel.

“Sweaty” as some of his 5/8’s call him 🤭 is thrilled to be pulling on the red, white & blue once more after spending his junior & early senior days with the Sale City Bulldogs up until the end of S23.

🙌🏼 Reuniting with our new recruit Kaden in Bulldogs colours, Bretty plied his trade with Balranald in S26 after spending 2x seasons playing with Dimboola in the Wimmera League.

🥵 Over the last two “off seasons” Bretty also got Sweaty up in the Northern Territory playing with PINT across the summer.

Despite his strong family ties to some club & league legends at the Bundoora Bulls, we are rapt that Benjamin has decided to sign on with us.

With a pre-season training spot at North Melbourne VFL starting soon, we look forward to seeing Bretty strut his stuff in the forward half of the field in S27! 💪🏼

Go Bulldogs! 🔴⚪️🔵

** New Player Signing **

The NPFNC welcome Benjamin Brett to Bill Lawry Oval for season 2026

Ben started playing senior footy at just 15/16, he’s built an impressive résumé early — including multiple leading goal kicker honours at Sale City and Pint in the NTFL. He’s also had the opportunity to train on with North Melbourne VFL, adding valuable experience at the next level. He most recently played at Dimboola the last 2 seasons where he was a member of The Team of The Year.

He is a beautiful left foot kick of the footy and will be sure to have an impact in 2026 & beyond.

With multiple Team of the Year selections, several Best & Fairest awards, and a league Best & Fairest to his name, Ben brings proven performance, consistency, and a strong presence around goals.

We can’t wait to see Benny running around in the green and gold.

We welcome Ben & family to the cougars
