Did you think I wasn’t going to do a THIRD WorldCon update? Well, you thought wrong!

I lost my voice from yappin about books, but it was so worth it. I got to hang out with some of my favorite people, met some new readers, and my BABY SISTER surprised me by driving up to see me. (Cat tax at the end).

Thank you to EVERYONE who interacted with me, even in the smallest ways. You are why I keep doing this.

On to day four!!

We are only ONE DAY into WorldCon and it’s already the best day of my life. I’m so happy that I got to see so many amazing people and say hi to some of my favorite human beings.

I won’t shut up about how much I love this, and how happy it makes me just to be around everyone.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and said hi, hung out, and talked books. Yinz make the world go round.

These books are so good you won't want to watch any movies today. Have you read any of these?

@benjaminliar is one of the kindest people I know and he’s a HEAVYWEIGHT writer (check out THE FAILURES). He was a beta reader on Worry Box and gave me some of the best structural advice I’ve gotten to help get a book into shape. Here’s what he said about it. Thanks buddy. 🖤

The Six over Sox hundred. I have game. I don’t know if it’s as good as @flip_the_page sock game or @bookishbugg and her head balancing act or even @alexcrayonsbooks and his creative post. Call this my chill era.. I have not read any of these, but three of them Are in fact, a part of my 10 before the end. All of these books are around 600 pages, I don’t bat any eyelashes at 600 hundred anymore, I eat those pages for breakfast.
I’ve been sticking pretty closely to my TBR pile and I’m excited to keep burning through them, but the problem with this community is that I keep discovering new books and adding to my pile. I can happily report I’ve only purchased 10 books this year so far.

is there anything that you collect aside from Books?
any shoe hoarders
Pins
Buttons
boogers?
I love me some sea glass and am a huge fan of wheat penny’s. But my faves, post cards from friends who go on trips..

You need to read these unique genres in science fiction and fantasy. What other genres don't get enough attention?

It has been a year of terrific books… and The Failures by Benjamin Liar still stands out. If you loved The Dark Tower, Perdido Street Station, or Senlin Ascends, you’re going to devour The Failures. What an absolute masterpiece!!
