Three weeks from today, Thursday, November 5th, we are proud to bring to you the 6th and final installment of "The Cat Scratch Sessions" for 2026. These acoustic house shows have been a fun, rewarding experience, not only for us, but also for the musicians and their fans. And the cats have loved every minute! We are closing down the year on the same high note we hit in January and maintained all year. Kicking off show number 6 is our good friends Ben and Kyle from the band @somethngprofound Something Profound and Quirky Cat Club will forever be tied together. This band's first ever performance was on stage at our joint 2nd Anniversary Show back in the summer of 2024. They've come back and performed for us a handful of times since then, and every time we get to see them play, they are better and more well-rounded them the last time. We already knew the sky was the limit for these guys, but the fact that they haven't grown complacent or comfortable, and continue working toward stronger results just means that they believe it too! Watching this band literally grow up alongside our rescue has been a pleasure. But for them, it's way more than just helping with music! Kyle and his wife Shannon were some of the earliest foster parents we had helping, and they took in and cared for probably close to 15 cats or so during their time as Fosters. They recently graduated from Cat Foster Parents to actual Human Parents, but we know as soon as their child is old enough to say the word "cat", they will be back! We had the honor of hosting Something Profound's first ever show in 2024. Now, in 2026, we have the honor of hosting their first ever acoustic show. And if we've learned nothing else about this band and the past 2 years we spent getting to know them, we know this - they are working hard, getting ready, and will show up prepared to win you over and earn you as a fan! You're not gonna want to miss it! DM for the address! FREE SHOW!!! #quirkycatclub #southjerseyspunkrockcatrescue #somethingprofound #thecatscratchsessions #fatadaykorngor

Not only is today the first day of October, it's also the first Thursday of October. On the first Thursdays of the even months, we like to announce "The Cat Scratch Sessions" show coming up on the odd months. The next episode of "The Cat Scratch Sessions" will be the final one of the year, and we didn't hold back. We want to keep the streak going of strong, important, and fun performances from our comfy cat hair-covered couch. And with that in mind, we hope you will be here with us on Thursday, November 5th, as @fatadaykorngormusic and Kyle and Ben from @somethngprofound stop by the Quirky Cat Clubhouse to put on an unforgettable show for you! As always, these shows are a great chance for you to come enjoy stripped down, campfire versions of these artists' music, while you play and interact with our current batch of adoptable cats and kittens. And they are FREE! If you don't already have the address, DM us for it so you won't miss out! #quirkycatclub #southjerseyspunkrockcatrescue #thecatscratchsessions #fatadaykorngor #somethingprofound

May 2026. It was good to me once again. Me and Shannon had a successful baby shower. Porch fest and Union the day before was the cherry on top to a good month. I’m thankful for every second of the opportunities and blessings that continue to come into my life despite the evil shit my brain projects onto my day to day. I’m trying to stay out of my head. The little moments we all take for granted last a life time. Don’t ever forget what is fucking important to you. @shanllloyd 🎥📸 for the pics of @somethngprofound
