Homeward Bound (1993) follows pets Shadow, Chance, and Sassy on a perilous cross-country trek across the Sierra Nevada mountains to reunite with their family.

The film features an iconic voice cast led by Don Ameche as Shadow, Michael J. Fox as Chance, and Sally Field as Sassy. Peter, the young owner whose bond with Shadow anchors the story, is played by Benj Thall, whose recent nostalgic social media posts and anniversary appearances continue to delight 90s kids online.

🎉 Happy Happy Birthday to my “brother on the set,” Benji!! 🥳🎬

It’s so crazy to think that we met all those years ago when we were just 12 years old filming Repossessed! Since you were the same age as my real brother, we instantly clicked and had the best time spending months together on set. Those days were filled with so much laughter, fun, and memories that I’ll always treasure.

After all these years, reconnecting on social media felt like no time had passed at all! And finally seeing each other again at the Repossessed cast reunion was the BEST! It brought back so many incredible memories, and it was so much fun reminiscing, laughing, and celebrating such a special part of our childhood together!

Happy Happy Birthday, Benji! I hope your day is as awesome as you are and that this next year brings you nothing but happiness, laughter, and amazing adventures. So grateful we reconnected after all these years. Xoxo 😘 my friend! 🎂🎉❤️

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads (Dog Dads too).
We, Dad and I headed up to the wisdom tree. Thinking a lot about his Dad, Irwin, who was my first Dad too for a brief moment. Sending all our joy out to you all. ❤️

#globalrunningday was a success!! A massive thank you to @saltandstraw for hosting us this evening, we had such a blast!

More importantly from leader of the club -> to YOU the runners of the club. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for making this club what it is Thank you for continuously showing up each and every week. Without you it wouldn’t be the magical, fun, silly, playful, accepting, joyful community that it is. We show up for the love of running, but it’s always more than just running!

One of my best friends bought me another copy of the Homeward Bound movies! My DVDS were so scratched because of how much I watched them and when it came in the mail I was jumping up and down! These are two of my comfort movies that Disney had done and mean so much to me! I absolutely love them both so much! #homewardbound #film #cinema #movie
