What a weekend at the Rogue Invitational 2026 with the team at @er_physiotherapy_aberdeen

The team made a start on Wednesday working with the athletes quite literally straight off the plane to work out the jet lag and free them up to get into the warmup area and start prepping for competition.

It’s so important for the athletes to feel like they can hit the ground running and trust the practitioner in front of them to put them in the best position possible in the lead up to the event. Sometimes this does just mean a quick flush and a loosen off.

But for the most part with seasoned athletes this means stepping into the management of complex ongoing injuries that need us to immediately bring ourselves up to speed on how the athletes own PT manages their needs to allow us to make immediate decisions on management strategies.

Fantastic day yesterday with our staff outing from @theunitgymfitness as we spent the day at @findracksporting clay shooting. The level of professionalism and hospitality was off the scale as all the staff went above and beyond to take care of us throughout the day.

Clean & jerk PB today — up to 125kg.
Turns out that when you actually warm up properly and wake up those fast-twitch fibres… magical things happen.

Mad, I know.

Here’s me thinking caffeine and blind optimism were enough.

Big thanks to @benkilner and @aaronellington1984 for the hype and filming!
