TRAINER SPOTLIGHT — BEN MAYER

Ben was a consistent starter on the Ohio State offense after transferring in from York College where he dominated the D3 level, racking up multiple All-American honors along the way. Ben’s game combines physicality, downhill dodging, and a HAMMER of a step-down shot, making him a prototypical offensive midfielder.

Ben’s path to playing at the highest level is untraditional as he wasn’t from a hotbed nor did he play club. Hard work and consistency underpinned his success, and the youth lax community will benefit greatly from learning those traits from him!

So awesome to get to be a part of what God is doing with FCA this summer as an intern in MOCO. Thankful for all the memories and ways God showed up. All Glory to the one who gave me life!

The Bible calls us to serve with an “upside-down Kingdom” approach. In Matthew 20:28, Jesus says, “the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” This statement reveals the fundamental truth of the upside-down kingdom of God, where the way of the world is turned on its head, and God’s way is “right.” It is a kingdom where the “last will be first, and the first last”

Last week I had the incredible opportunity to serve and lead at the FCA Lacrosse National Camp held at Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA.

400+ campers and coaches gathered for an incredible week of fun and fellowship. I am immensely grateful to play a role in the impact this camp provides to many throughout the lacrosse world.
