Making short films is hard. It took over two years from the moment @ximpri and I finished writing “Contesta” to watch the camera roll the first day on set. It wouldn’t have been possible without an immense amount of support from people I love and admire deeply.

From @bennarich who read the first draft and immediately said he wanted to produce it, to @rpstam who beautifully lensed the world I imagined. The friends and new collaborators who brought this to life cemented for me why making art is vital.

@oorcim and his team built sets that transported me back to 1986, Anna Terrazas dressed every character and extra with absolute precision. Everyone at @woofilmstv who worked countless hours for the last couple of months to ensure that our shoot ran smoothly. @ayami_erdmann and @rafahga who not only produced the hell out of the short, but let me dress them up and put them in one of my favorite shots of the film.

And to @mayrabatalla , @mateortegak , @elyfertorres ~ thank you for being the powerhouses who shine so brightly in front of the camera. You each breathed life into the characters, giving the film the last bit of magic it needed.
