We set out to make a fun spoof commercial and now genuinely wonder why this isn’t an option for uber yet…

Full version of “Uber extreme” is officially live on YouTube.

Anyone familiar with the story of the horse that bolted is familiar with the idea that things are rarely good or bad, but with hindsight often become clearer. When I first started realising I wasn’t going to be getting a call to be part of the team on #apex, I was pretty bummed. But when I looked at the people that did, I started realising that there wasn’t a single person I deserved the spot more than. They were a bunch of guns with either comparable experience to me or a specific skill set that very much out shone my own, when it came to the subject of the film. No sooner had I accepted the personal disappointment than I get a call asking me to arrive for a swim test with the number 1 on the callsheet with 48hrs notice and while I was in another state. I dove at the opportunity 😏. I didn’t have footage but really want to acknowledge the work of the other doubles- @_julesmcvie_ , @pannecooking, @river_mutton, and @luukajones; who along with @journeysofmax made my job an absolute pleasure and never put a foot wrong in what ended up on the screen. You’re amazing. Also @callangrady for the chats and the lesson in the Kayak. Mental. They’ve already got their flowers but @charlizeafrica and @taron.egerton are very much deserving of the accolades. Thanks again to @micksoutfilming for trusting and employing me, @philpartridge and @gregrementer for directing and using me, plus forgiving me when the inevitable clashes with my regular gig on NCIS started, literally seeing me remove my reg from CT’s mouth so I could run away to another set in the same studio, a day that until that moment had been one of the most rewarding. There was Yin and Yang to the job for sure. But, what a job. 😁 thanks as well to @apeksdiving, what else would I choose to rely on. #stuntsadjacent #welovegreg #apexnetflix #divingisfun
