This year has been the biggest test of all, through the hard days, the incredible burn out, and the determination to get through it, I am so incredibly grateful to be 1/2 done with Nursing School! When they said find your support system and utilize it; they really meant it.
I could not have done without my amazing family and boyfriend who have let me cry way to many times on the phone and after, encouraged me, and I am grateful to my friends who were there to pick me back up, to help me laugh to take the pressure off of school.
I am so grateful that the Lord has been with me through it all. The stressful points called me closer to him. All thanks to the glory of God.

🌹 Only 12% of men ever receive flowers. 8% of the time, it’s at their funeral after they’re already gone.

Today, the Men in Nursing Club set out to change that statistic!

We handed out nearly 200 roses to men on campus, each one with a message of encouragement, reminding them that they are seen, valued, and appreciated.
Because appreciation shouldn’t come only after it’s too late.

Let’s normalize kindness, break the stigma, and give men their flowers while they’re here to receive them. 💙
