“But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting: “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭14‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Favor comes with a crucified life.

It’s crazy to think how quickly our first 52 Sundays came and went. You spend so much time pushing forward, that, before you know it, you’re looking backward and what feels like a lifetime has already come and gone.

This has been a miracle every step of the way. Over 100 salvations, over 40 baptisms, over $20,000 given to missions and church planting, and the miracles keep happening. It’s been a journey beyond our wildest imagination.

The lessons we’ve learned in this past year are impossible to put into words. Everything that God has taught us, brought us through, led us through, and carried us through… these are days we’ll look back on for the rest of our lives. No matter what happens next, this year happened first. And it changed everything.

A special shoutout (and tags) to the pastors who came alongside Destiny and I and poured into us. Giving us love, encouragement, wisdom, financial support, friendship, coaching, correction… We couldn’t do it without you and we love you dearly. (Shoutout to @drchrisstephens @8moore @bethanylentzmurdock @connorlynnmoore @stutteringpastor @brianvbradford @patrickgrach — I don’t have pics with you but all the love)

A shoutout to my wife. Not just the woman of my dreams, but my best friend, my ride or die, my secret weapon. I love you most.

The test of our ministry isn’t whether people leave remembering our names, but it’s whether they leave knowing Jesus.

“Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.”
